Private labeling problem... need help!

I have a cosmetic product brand open right now

And I'm trying to add new products while getting killed on the labeling and bottling

While I can get bottles here locally.. most people won't label your bottles using their machines if the quantity is under 1000. I'm adding 20 new products with most bottles being a different shape (Longer, circular bottles, etc)

Now 20 products x 1000 = 20,000k labels... there's no way I have the money for that... nor do I need this much in the beginning

First I just want to label maybe 20 labels per item... 20x20 = 400 labels in total

I tried looking for a machine owners that label your bottles and am faced with the following problems

1) The quantity is too low
2) They don't have all the sizes that I want
3) The price is too high per label (Ridiculous as in 1$/label)

I also tried looking for a machine myself to purchase and it's like in the 1000's...

Now I can order bottles with labels printed from China, for a redicolously low price.. but the problem is in china they won't sell you less then 10,000 bottles Minimum order / PER BOTTLE SIZE...

Is there anyway to get around this puzzle???

    buy the labels already printed and put them on yourself!
    We do that. And have been in cosmetic biz for 7 years.

      you cant mix and match your first 1000 lables I take it.
      i agree with lori. put them on yourself and grind it out until capital is raised.

      try getting a sourcing agent in China to bring down that qty

        There are distributors for low MOQ generic bottle containers in China. It won't be as inexpensive as getting them made through a manufacturer, but it won't be as much as an order for 10,000 containers for 1 specific size.

        Also, look for manufacturer of the container, and see if they have a catalog or pictures of bottles they have already made meaning they already have the mold and material measurements for. If one of these manufacturers does, if you spend a little effort in talking with them and you tell them you only need 1000 of a specific bottle they have already manufactured but don't need it immediately, and if you offer to pay a larger deposit or pay for everything outright, then they will be more open in working with you.

    primera lx900 commercial color label printer is awesome, about 2,000 bucks, prints color near photo quality. you can print 1 label if you want.
