selling custom coffee mugs or mouse pads on ebay?

Hi,

Does anybody have any advice about selling custom made coffee mugs or computer mouse pads on ebay?

I have several good ideas for custom designs and I think they will sale. I would likely plan on getting a company to make the custom design and then probably drop ship them for me.

What do you think, is it worth going for?

    1.Coffee - definitely Coffee
    2.NOT mugs , but coffee capsules

    Not an easy market however worth the trouble , and by NOT AN EASY MARKET I mean it's not easier then the mobile accessories .

    I think the most important thing here is how you approach to eBay , if it's fulltime job and you have big plans for your online business then you can definitely accept the challenge .

    If you just looking for some extra cash , to list a product and take $1k/month then look for other niche...

    Have you considered Etsy at all? Buyers go to that marketplace looking for things that are unique or custom made, so you may draw more interest there....although, you will probably also have more competition. Whether you chose to sell on Etsy or eBay, do your research on the marketplace, it's policies, customers, and how to market to your target audience. Like davigol said, selling online is a full-time job if you want to be profitable. It takes hard work - but it's doable. Keep us posted on your progress, and good luck!
