There are many platforms are available to create an online eCommerce store such as Zencart, Zendesk, Magento, Salesforce, Prestashop, eBay, Big-commerce, Shopify etc. After creating eCommerce store on these platform the next thing is how to interact with your online customer. For that I would like to suggest eAssistance Pro live chat software. It will support all CMS and eCommerce platform. It is easy to integrate and fully customizable. To use this software no-one need any kind of training. To integrate this live chat solution on these platform go to https://www.eassistancepro.com/addons/

Looks nice but I cannot justify $20 a month when I there are so many options that are free and give just about the same features you do. Didn't see anything that really stood out for me on your software.

You might want to consider creating a free option to compete. Most allow 1 operator for free.

We use Olark in our stores. Its set-up is incredibly fast and simple, for Bigcommerce anyway.

Live chat is a fantastic way to easily increase sales.

A few years ago I had our VA run a timestamp test.

She measured how long each customer chat took and whether it converted to a sale. We were able to track the customer's name and their order.

We divided the profit margin of the order by her hourly rate.

We stopped measuring after a few days. From memory, for a cost of around $40 we made $800 in profit. It was something like that; sufficient margin to know it was worthwhile going ahead with it.

She wasn't an incredibly effective customer service agent; I think it's literally just down to using live chat in your store.

Olark has always worked really well for us. Never had a glitch.

Nope, live chat reduces your automation efficiency down to zero, you are desk/computer bound, fine for niche, anything else and it's a painful journey.

You can also try LiveAgent Live Chat software. You can easily integrate a live chat button on your eCommerce platform. It's not only a live chat software, but it includes all helpdesk features. You can connect your mailbox, FB, Twitter, phone to LiveAgent and answer all messages/posts from a single interface.

I use Live Helper Chat for my membership site. It's free and well supported. It had all the whistles and bells I have needed and some extra modules that I haven't found the need for yet.

Good luck with whatever script you choose.
