Okay, So I have prime membership on amazon, and I have been dropshipping a lot of products and it works well. now, I would like to aim higher and to go higher but there is one problem that I can't figure out how to manage. once you send a lot of items to many many addresses amazon's eye brows raise and they know that you dropship. my aim is to order 1k items per day. but I know amazon would not letm e because its not allowed to use by prime membership. but, I see many many ebay sellers that dropship from amazon and they have more then 1k items in orders per day and it works well for them. how can I get threw it?, I mean its good and cool. and I'd love to dropship more from amazon but how can I get threw the ordering to many addresses limiting problem?, I mean they can ban me for abusing prime. so how all the other sellers sell tons of products and amazon doesn't ban them? I cannot answer that question!! how do they do it?.
That means, for example if you have 1k-2k orders on ebay per day. that means you are going to ship 1k-2k orders to 1k-2k US Addreses. If it's GSP Order That's one address but lets say its 1k order per day. how can I pass threw this issue???
moreover, they is listing policy on ebay, that means copy right policy, sometimes I add a product t hat is being sold and shipped by amazon but still ebay says it violates copyright policy. how can I prevent it and know what products will be copyright's violation? .

People who use ebay to dropship from amazon do not use their amazon prime

The copyright issue is because sometimes ebay has certain pictures and even product descriptions flagged..you technically are not allowed to use any picture or description without consent

So if you get that warning, merely chabge the picture, or change the description

I'll Explain it to you. if you go to this particular seller- XA-Electronics (XA-Enterprise).

it's well known he is dropshipping from amazon. Furthermore, He Is DropShipping from Amazon Using Prime Account (Free 2day shipping ) and pricing according to prime pricing. he ships around 2k orders per day or even more I believe. how is he allowed to do that?? .

About the copyright violation, all my products have the same template Except the item description. it says that there is someone that complains about it to ebay and ebay deletes the listing. but the most important question is that how can you pass threw it using your prime account membership?? like XA-Electronics

    • This model doesn't work well.

You'll be shut down because you're violating the TOS.

Furthermore, you've already admitted that you don't want to tip off Amazon into thinking you're doing anything suspicious.

That should be your first red flag. If your source doesn't want you to do something, and you're doing it, you have a very short-term business.

The real question is it even worth it to do it. Just look at the products he is selling and the prices on Amazon and do the math.

I will take his top selling product Cards Against Humanity. He sells it for $27.19 his costs on that are $25 buying it $2.175 in ebay fees (8% taking account of top seller status), $0.817 in paypal fees at the lowest rate (1.9% + 30 cents).

      Total cost $27.99

Now that is obviously more then what he sells it for so I am going to assume he is using cash back cards to make some money back. So additional income of 3% cash back on the amazon purchase $0.75 so up to $27.94. If he uses a 3% cash back card to pay his ebay fees he gets an additional $0.065 back.

Final numbers Total income $28.01 - expenses of $27.99.. Best card scenario 2 cents.

Even items with profit are extremely low for example the Seinfeld DVD he makes 63 cents assuming 3% cash back on his purchases...

So lets say he does 2000 orders a day at 20 cents profit ( 1% ) which is probably an overestimate since his average sale price is pretty low. So profit per day is $400 before accounting for returns charge-backs and actually having to run this account. So maybe he makes half that through automation and outsources to run the operations. $200 per day

Why would you want to do this???? crazy low margins, high risk and you have to scale up to a large scale before you even make a couple hundred bucks per day. Trust me there are a lot easier ways to make $200 a day :/

There are better ways to make money, my friend. Drop shipping off amazon is extremely low margin. If you broke it down by hour, you would make a lot more money flipping burgers.

As a general rule it is always best to NOT knowingly violate any site's Terms of Service. In this case you are putting your business / income stream at risk. If you thing others are in violation it is not wise to try to learn how they are doing it so you can get away with it also.

Don't try to piss amazon off, I've tried doing Prime for sometime, but then prime got suspended and did not want to get my account suspended as well, so I just sticked with usual shipping and worked quite fine, Amazon sitll ships fine. Or just use different supplier, don't stick with Amazon all the time.

I don't understand why you wouldn't establish relationships with distributors and light bulk importers and drop ship closer to the source at a higher margin. I can't even imagine handling 1k or 2k orders per day. It seems physicaly impossible. How long will that take? Wow. Tires me out thinking about.

I suppose if you can realize $1 profit per order it adds up assuming there is a profit after all the add on costs.

"closer to the source at a higher margin." I have taught hundreds of people, many of whom only have a small amount of capital, how to go direct to the source.

The source is the manufacturer. You can buy direct from them instead of buying from the
light bulk importers and you will enjoy the extra margins that those importers have added.

With that low cost inventory you have complete control of your own business. You will not be dependent on a dropship wholesaler to supply the right product at the right time and in good condition. You will not be working for the dropshipper at very low margins, you will be working for yourself at margins that will amaze you..

AND... you won't be getting your account with Amazon banned.

    Hello guys,

This might be off from the topic. But please help me with this.

I'm from Philippines and I wanted to do the dropshipping business from Amazon to Ebay. But there are these questions that are bugging me. If you could clarify them for me, it may help me get started.

    Questions:

    - How can you pay for the Amazon product if your buyer on Ebay pays you on Paypal? We know that Amazon don't accept paypal as payment and that Paypal holds your first payment for a certain day (can you tell me how many day it is?). If we will wait for the days until the money will be transferred to your bank account or credit card, it would delay the buyers' product.

Does it mean that you'll have to pull from your own pocket first to pay to Amazon?

    - Is there any work around that the payment you receive from paypal sent directly to your bank account or card?

    - I've learned that I can use Paypal debit card so that there'll be no need to do the transferring when paying on Amazon. Is it true? If so, can I apply for PayPal debit card here in Philippines?

Thank you so much and hope my questions will be addressed clearly and specifically.

After you've had 90 days after your first successful sale, over $250 in transactions, and at least 25 successful transactions on Ebay, then I believe Paypal won't hold your money, so it will be instantly available in your paypal balance. Now, for sourcing from Amazon, yes you will have to first draw from your own money to pay for it. I'm not quite sure about the paypal debit card, but it's possible.

As far as the main thread goes, using Amazon as your source for dropshipping isn't against their ToS, and Amazon, as far as I'm concerned, has no problem with it. The only thing you can't do is use your prime membership for shipping, because once you hit a certain volume, they'll be losing more money than they wish too.

      Good luck!

      Hi tuetatestojoy

I dropship from Amazon to Ebay and it's true they don't accept Paypal as a form of payment. So you do have to pay from a credit or debit card and then transfer the money from paypal to your card.

It wasn't ideal as other sites let you pay via Paypal, however since they introduced the Paypal Access card you can register that with Amazon and use that to pay for items.

You do have to have the funds in your Paypal account though as it is a kind of top up card.
If you have a Paypal account in the Philippines then you should then be able to apply for the access card. Once you get it just add to amazon account and use that to pay for your items.
It's now just as easy to buy from Amazon using this method as it is from other drop-shipping sites.

      Hope it helps : )

Seriously.... how is there so much spam on the forum lately?

Anyway, I just wanted to make a quick point regarding Prime dropshipping. A colleague started doing this on a regular basis, but returns and unforseen costs eventually hit his profits. On a massive scale, it can work, but is essentially against Amazon TOS.

The best way to do it is to build relationships with the sellers on Amazon, and have them dropship. Sure, it won't be FBA, but it will be safe. Another way to go about it is to search Google for ecommerce sites that sell the products, and arrange dropshipping with them.

If you're thinking of running a drop-shipping business selling on eBay, then think again.

eBay are a law unto themselves. I spent five months dropshipping on eBay.com. I live in the UK. I bought and sold in the US because of the bigger market.

Overall I made a loss in that time. eBay and PayPal fees, and the conversion fees of dollars to GB pounds and back again added up to more than my gross profits.

On top of that, about a month and a half after I ceased the business, eBay informed me that my account was "restricted", which meant, apparently, that I can no longer buy or sell on eBay. I can't use a different account or open a new one. And there's no appeal. How's that for the exercise of arbitrary power?

I have 100 per cent positive feedback, and had no dissatisfied customers at all, so how could this have happened? eBay tell me that I had a "high defect rate", but refuse to explain what that means other than referring me to one of their pages.

I did have eight refund requests, owing to a faulty product or (alleged) discrepancy between the image and the product but this was something outside my control and down to the supplier. I refunded all of them as soon as the product had been returned, and had no complaints.

I don't have the time or inclination to get into a protracted argument with eBay, but I'm just glad I didn't come to rely on that business or eBay itself long term for my income.

It seems that if you run a business that involves selling on eBay then you don't really own or control that business - eBay does. You're just an employee of eBay, but without any statutory rights or employee protection.

      You have been warned.

An8ther solution for you... If you are pouring hours a day into finding products to dropship, then you could just send hundreds of emails to online stores who sell the hot selling products Instead. Choose sites that have online stock levels, and have a coder on Fiverr write a quick scraper to load these into a file, and that will streamline things and make it safer too.

You can "dropship" ( this is really a form of arbitrage ) items from Amazon to Ebay buyers, but you cannot use Prime to ship these items and you cannot just copy and paste the listing and pictures from Amazon to Ebay. These are both against the TOS on Amazon and your account might get closed.

Ok.. I am not affiliate with any programs or anything but let me just say this.. Dropshipping can work.... A couple of months ago, I listed 250 items on ebay using amazon prime as my supplier (Amazon never gave me a warning).. In a month about 30 items sold. My profit margin was between 3 to 8 dollars an item, and I was a top rated seller plus, so eBay gave me a discount on fees.. So lets say my profit for each item was 5 dollars.. I made about 150 dollars profit on all 30 items I've sold.. Listing 250 items was a hassle because of researching good profitable items.. Took me about 3 days all DAY.. However, here's the issue..... The prices that are on amazon keeps changing; it goes up and down like a roller-coaster and some items are out of stock, and each day that made my heart beat fast, and I start having like anxiety attack. Because of that I quit dropshipping... That was like a few months back... But now, I want to get back on it because I do see potential.. If I can make 150 dollars profit just listing 250 items.. Imagine if I list 10 thousand items? If you're wondering why would the buyer pay for a higher price on ebay than on amazon? I can't answer that for you because nobody knows.. Maybe the buyer saw your feedback score and felt comfortable.. Maybe they don't care. WHO KNOWS..

    Simple solution for this.
Just partner up with ecommerce sites and arrange dropshipping.
Second get a team and rent a warehouse and manual ship.
    Lastly use a forwarding service.
