I am based in Los Angeles. Anyone know or have a list of drop-shippers of wine. I have been searching for a while but have gotten no luck as of yet. Also any person that deals with or has dealt with wine, if you could PM that would mean a great deal. All help is extremely appreciated. Have a great weekend you guys!

You will have an extremely hard time finding it. Here is why.

Alcohol and liquor is highly regulated. Sometimes down as far as the municipal level.

Most wine is either sold directly from the winery, directly from the large brands or through an importer/distributor.

You can check with the larger distributors like southern wine and spirits or kermit lynch, but I don't see them dropshipping on your behalf. Realize that wine selection goes this router:

    Master Sommelier
    Wine Directors
    Specialty Restaurants
    Large Chains
    Retail Stores

By the time you get to someone like you, all you are left with, are the remnants. Realize that many of your best wines have waiting lists. I had a wine last week that has an 8 Year waiting list. The only reason I got it is one of my customers is one of the first Master Sommeliers in the USA.

Add on top of that, you may not be able to get a Fed Ex or UPS account to ship. And finally, given the regulated nature, I don't see a distributor wanting to take the risk of shipping illegally since they don't have control of the sales channel.

Sorry to be a buzz kill, but unless you have a wine shop, I can't see you being able to dropship wine. Hopefully I am wrong but I just don't see it.

onlinestorehelp is right. You are going to have a nightmare dealing with regulations. I am a Category Manager for a C-store chain and one of my categories is alcohol. Most of the regulations are put in place for cronyism and the legislatures are not interested in changing the asinine laws and regulations to allow e-commerce competition.

In addition dont assume because you get a licence you can start shipping via USPS. Thats a whole other mess.
