So I am wanting to get into drop shipping. Once I start to make some capital I will probably buy up inventory to achieve better profit margins. Anyways I am trying to think of some niches that I am passionate about to build a foundation with. Do you think starting a e-commerce site selling items to preppers would make me some capital?

I am a avid outdoorsman if the opportunity presented itself I do believe I could survive in the wilderness. So I am knowledgeable about this niche, What do you guys think? Profitable niche or flooded niche?

I can't help you with choosing a niche, but I can offer suggestions about sourcing inventory when you get to that stage.

First, you should ignore all the amateur importing gurus who tell you to source via Alibaba because it's the biggest and the best. You also can ignore the myths about needing lots of cash to buy inventory direct from manufacturers.

I have taught hundreds of people how to safely source small orders direct from genuine manufacturers, and how to import the easy way.

Here is a post April 18th from one of my book buyers on the thread: Need ebook, for Dropshipping & manufacturers

"I purchased his book last week, it's an awesome book! Straight to the point.. And didn't have to waste my time reading many worthless pages!! I found many manufacturers, and drop-shippers. But to be honest I don't want everyone buying his book, so I won't have as much competition!!"

Flooded, IMO. I looked at this one, couldn't make any margin.
