I am currently making my ecommerce site now. I bought a domain in mocahost and of course the hosting is with them. My ecommerce site is still in draft and I am about to upload it. My questions are:
- Is mocahost safe enough for my ecommerce site?
- What can you recommend?
- In terms of security, how can I further protect myself and my client?

Please help me, I am new to ecommerce.

If you have already got their hosting then you cannot change your mind for now. I would suggest you to stay up with them and know more about their services. You can check for some reviews in various web hosting forums to know more about their reliability.

The main thing is that if it suits your website, you can always stick to the same hosting. But if you find drawbacks you can always transfer your host to a new one. Hope some good hosts do have money back guarantees.

Yeah, if you have already purchased this hosting, then you can't do anything. Just experience its service.

I would check to see if they are PCI compliant, if not then they probably are not a good choice to run an ecommerce site as at some point once the sales start coming in your credit card provider is going to start asking hard questions and require you to become compliant. Larger hosters like AWS and Linode boast about this on their sites as getting the certification is a pain

From my point of view you have to check the terms & conditions & what security measures they implement for hosting your services.
