Hello warriorforum community,

I wanted to get the feedback on a new project we are thinking about launching.

We are looking to launch an affiliate program (shareasale) for our ecommerce website. Our niche is fitness/crossfit.

Anybody have any feedback or success/horror stories from implementing an affiliate program for their store?

Warmest regards,
Ryan

    Hi there,

I have some experience with affiliate programs for ecommerce sites. My take on it is you will get out of it what you put into it. Many companies end up canceling their affiliate programs because they become too costly or time consuming. That's generally tied to poor management of the program.

Shareasale is a great choice and would be my preference as well. Lots of affiliates in their network and they handle the payouts. That's a big burden off of your shoulders.

I would focus on attracting and retaining great affiliates. You can do this by creating an affiliate resource center, with lots of content and digital assets that will help them promote you. You also want to recruit, incentivize, and motivate your affiliates for maximum benefit.
