Hey warriors. I need advice on creating a 7 figure ecommerce site with shopify. I convinced my boss to switch from CFWebstore to the much better platform.

Last year (before I arrived) they grossed $182K. Today we're sitting at $60K but the season for our market is gearing up. We have an email list of about 6-7,000 people.
Before me all they did was run sales every month on the 15th which basically gives away the product.

We do free shipping on orders of $35 which seems to be what most peoples minimum order . I have a few ideas in mind to reach 7 figures or at least high 6's.

For instance adding .99 cents to each product to account for shopify CC processing fees, and making free shipping $39-$45 instead of $35. We have great brand loyalty which is amazing to me...

Any advice on what to focus on, which direction to go. Any Shopify killers in here? I'd love you guys input.

Also how much % should I ask for reaching certain numbers. I say 5-10% but that may be too high.

Thanks in advance for your input!!! :-)

Sounds like you've got a solid foundation and some decent sales. In my opinion, it has little to do with Shopify. You have a thriving ecommerce website...the platform doesn't make much difference at this point.

Personally, I'd focus on increasing average order value, conversion rate optimization, driving more targeted traffic, email marketing (so much you can do with this...esp. with 6-7K subscribers).

And I'm not sure what you meant by "how much % should I ask for reaching certain numbers. I say 5-10% but that may be too high."

You didn't really paint a pretty picture of your involvement. What happened? Because by the looks of it, they were doing better when they were simply running a monthly sale.
