Hey guys,

I'm an IT guy from Germany and I would like to start a FBA side project. Currently I'm on vacation (whole October) and I want to use my time to get into the FBA thing.
I did some research on products on Amazon.de and Alibaba/Aliexpress. (I'm aiming for the china sourcing route.)

I would like to get connected to other FBA merchants to share ideas and insights on sourcing, product ideas, importing etc.

People with different approaches (retail arbitrage, alibaba, etc), geographies (US, CAN, DE, NL, Nordics etc) and stages (Beginners, Practitioners, Masters) would be nice.

Anybody interested?

I think you are making an excellent decision to start an FBA business. For me it is the best thing I have done since I started working online.

I am not an expert on China sourcing but I know that there is a lot of good information available on this site that can assist up. I would suggest you use the search feature and find the posts by "ImportExport". I expect you will find his information to be very helpful and you may learn more about Alibaba in the process.

@ZanyZebra: What are the requirements (do I need to have some special social media account) and (most likely) costs to be part of that group?

Yes, you'll probably have to sign up to ASM6 through his affiliate link.

          ASM - great product btw

Unfortunately, I'm already part of a mastermind on Facebook and where I'm in Maine (USA) I think the timezone thing would be quite difficult.

You're defiantly on the right path though trying to set up a mastermind. We've helped each other out quite a bit. Amazon is getting worst and worst for private Label sellers though. 2 of the 10 people in that group have gotten their accounts suspended for no reason beside one of their competitors buying there product and claiming it's a counterfeit. Since they are the one that actually started the brand it's hard to say that they are selling counterfeits. However, they still need to jump through hoops to get their accounts reinstated, It's nuts.

Hi, I'm an Asian guy and is interested in joining. My expertise is in china product sourcing and is looking for flea market sellers and offline retailers, ebay and amazon business sellers to get wholesale products from me.

Do let me know if anyone is keen and I'm also interested in getting into the Amazon FBA road but has little clue to solve one of the issue which is the labelling of each products to amazon warehouse and the process to do so.

Great to learn from other amazon sellers and also being your conceirge partner for china product sourcing.

      Regards,
      Jerry

Ok guys, lets see if we can make this happen. I'll write PMs to each of you to find out what location you are and if we have a chance to make the mastermind group happen. Timezones will be the thing to solve.

Currently we have 3 people who wrote back. One from the pacific, on from central Europe and one from Singapore. Options for time slots are still there (which is surprising).

I would really like to see more interested people join. FBA UK? Scandinavia? Canada? More US? China? Philipines? Bring it on. If we get to 4-6 people it would be awesome.

Currently this group looks like to be quite international so the next hurdle to take will be language/dialect.

Technology will most probably be Skype or Google Hangouts.

I'm in the UK and I'd be interested if this was a private label MM and even more so if you kept it European or at least within GMT 5hr.

I've been a part of a few MM/study groups and I think you'll find it challenge to keep everyone on board with such divergent, FBA strategies and time zones.

There is an easy fix for that. We all just throw in a couple grand and launch a product together. Different Countries? Even better we all sell in our respective markets.

    Hi guys,

I've never been in any MM group and I think it could be of great help to my personal/professional development.

My concern is whether or not this MM thing would be of any help when all Minds involved are those of people just starting out (I include myself in this group).

Time zone it could be a challenge but not a big issue imo.

Regarding different strategies, by sticking to the original thread idea (FBA-MM) it should be clear that the main focus should be selling through FBA.

I'm currently selling on the US market, 2 months on the way now, and it would be great to meet other people selling from outside the US.

...it would be great to meet other people selling from outside the US.
I'm planning a trip to London to get everything setup so I can expand into the European market. I would be happy to share what I'm doing along the way with the group.

That being said I'm just starting the process and would love any advice on how to structure the corporation and the tax side of things if anybody has done it before.
