hello everyone!

Im starting to sell on ebay and amazon, and i have a pretty clear plan to selling amazon products under my brand with FBA, but i want to get my seller account started first, and get a handful of reviews for a small amount of products before i place bulk orders for resale.

anyways, do you think its okay for me to list products on amazon and dropship them from manufacturers in US?

Also, would it be better to sell under my own brand/UPC at first or should i start listing products others are selling under their listings & upcs?

let me know, thanks!

First question I have is, if you're selling product from another manufacturer how could you sell it under your own brand? Are they just white label products?

I'm not sure if amazon likes drop shipping from a manufacturer. It would be right in their terms and conditions. I know Amazon is hot for suspending accounts right now of people who don't follow their rules though. So just be careful.

If using FBA you need to send inventory to the Amazon warehouses: no drop-shipping option available with that.

If listing your merchandise as FBM then you could -technically_ drop-ship, although is not the best option as you will not have direct control over the product or the fulfillment process. And very likely Amazon does not like that.

Creating the listing is your first logical step, once you have sourced your products; after that you'll need to decide if going by FBA or FBM.

So if is FBA: 1)get the products to your place 2)properly label and pack the products 3)create shipments from your seller account 4)ship to designed warehouses 5)once delivered and uploaded in the system you will start selling.

Alternatively you could never touch products by using a 3rd party service to receive, inspect, label and forward to Amazon all of your merchandise being sent to them directly from the manufacturer/supplier of your choice. Don't let manufacturers send directly to Amazon 'coz you might get your goods refused (not-properly labeled/packed or not customs cleared) or even worse the manufacturer may decide to cut out the middleman (you)

If going FBM: 1)get the products 2)label and pack them 3)sell well & ship as fast as you can

Regarding PL is a choice -or strategy- about which you need to look at pros and cons, and evaluate depending on each specific situation and/or product.

I personally use AMZ Tracker and it works great to get fast-legitimate reviews. Is really easy to use and it has plenty of useful tools.

here's how it works in a nutshell:
1)you sign up and upload your product 2)go to your seller account and create coupon codes 3)create a promotion on AMZTracker 4)choose reviewers and send them your codes

Within a week you'll see reviews and feedback start getting in.

When using FBA people often do not thinkfof it as "buying from you" they are simply buying from Amazon which consumers are very comfortable with. Reviews will happen organically over time. There are some services I believe that are used to help boost the number of reviews you get.

That's 100% correct. I've been buying stuff from Amazon for years, but I didn't even know what seller feedback was on Amazon until I started doing retail arbitrage back in the spring.

I know I'm partial to this, but I would start your Amazon career with doing some retail arb just to get to know the ecosystem and how Amazon works. It's extremely easy to start and really doesn't cost much of anything. That way you'll be able to make a decision for yourself on which way you want to go in the long run.

selling amazon products in ebay , its really not worth because when buyer order from ebay and receives with amazon parcel . So, the your buyer obviously check the amazon product which lesser than what your buyer purchased price and finally receive a negative feedback. thats the reason am not doing drop ship amazon products in ebay.

But i don't have any clue most of the people successfully running this dropshipping in ebay, may be they have good tie up with the amazon sellers.
