New to Dropshipping

Hi guys, I am a new member here who is interested in Dropshipping. I know the basics of it as a few guys off HF have told me about it (And also told me to check out WF!).

I'm not asking for someones secret niche etc! I just need a mentor to point me in the right direction.

    1. Find a niche with relatively expensive products, $200 and over.
    2. Make sure there is no brand loyalty, i.e. Don't try to sell iPhones, you wil never be approved by Apple as a dealer.
    3. Research your competition, see what they sell and make a list of their brands/manufacturers.
    4. Make a website on shopify, upload some example generic products as if you were selling them.
    5. Call the manufacturers and open up ecommerce accounta wih them.
    6 upload products, advertise, sell.

    I use WooCommerce for my shop platform. It's simple to set up and get started. What are you thinking of selling? Any idea? You'll need a dropshipper, a hosting company, WooCommerce extension (free), and the extensions that you want to use with your shop (commercial from Woothemes).

    You'll also need to decide what payment you'll take. I use Paypal to keep things simple, but WooCommerce has many payment gateways available for merchant accounts.
