Hi Everyone,

I've been on WF for about a month now, l know it's great for IM, but I would love to talk to other e-commerce owners. I have had an e-commerce women's apparel site for a year now. To generate traffic, I work with bloggers all over the country, reach out to my e-mail list, do social media ads, and have done Google Ads in the past.

The majority of my traffic comes from Instagram and Pinterest. I have buyable pins and run Pinterest Ads with success but would really like to get a lot more traffic. Pinterest has been fantastic and am seeking a Pinterest Ads Expert as a mentor.

My goal is to get around 2000 visitors a day from Pinterest. Right now I get around 300 a week.

Thank you all so much!! I would also love to hear if any of you are e-commerce owners so we can connect!

You need to focus on Social media network to get quality traffic and customers for your business.

  • Start by following up to about 100 of these boards straight away. This will get you noticed, but there’s more that you can do. Go back to all of these boards, and like 3-5 of their posts. Quickly browse for what looks like the best content, and click like. I do this with all the boards that I follow, because you take up lots of room in their notifications, so they’re more likely to check out your profile.

Also, post more often and use right hashtags that will have a user to find your post. If you follow this activity on a weekly basis you will surely reach your target.

Sounds like you are already having some success. Here's what I would do:

      1. Go through your existing marketing channels (social, blog outreach, etc) and prioritize them by return on your spend/time. If you don't have metrics in place to measure these get those in place asap.

      2. If you can identify a channel with a positive return (ex: you make 1.50 for every dollar you spend on adwords) max that channel out...in other words, scale it up as much as possible, since you'll be making more than your money back.

      3. Monitor your metrics at each phase, split test, and continue to improve. Ex (Run 6 ads to your ad group instead of one...over time eliminate lower performers and replace them with new variants, etc).

      Hope that helps!
