Charge TAX on Ebay?

Hey warriorforum!

I've started to using Ebay for dropshipping bussines and buing with Amazon,Sometimes Amazon Charghes me on TAX fees,I'm selling only in USA for now,But living outside the US,Can I still charge my buyers on Texas? Is this legal?

    No, it's not legal unless you ship a physical product and plan to pay that tax to the state of Texas(or whatever state your LLC is registered). That's assuming that you have an LLC...which you probably don't if you're just skimming off of Amazon/Ebay.

    Anyway, the Supplier that ships the physical product has already charged the customer a state sales tax. You cannot charge a 2nd tax to keep for yourself.

      But I think you missunderstood something here:
      *The actual *Supplier in my case is Amazon,I'm listing items from Amazon to sell on Ebay,So after The Buyer buy from me something on Ebay,I will send the item for his adress from Amazon and Amazon charge *ME on TAX fees depends on what state my costumer is living,
      Thats the reason why I want to charge costumers on TAX on Ebay,I'm the one who pay them on Amazon,So what youre saying?

        It's a bit convoluted. If you were to charge sales tax, are you then planning to pay the sales tax to Texas or pocket it for yourself? Do you have a legitimate business license(?) because if you do not, you are not legally authorized to charge any sales tax.

        If you were legally working with a Supplier, the Supplier would require a copy of your state Resale Certificate(Sales & Use), so that appropriate taxing would be issued based on which state your business is registered.

    in fact most of customers pay on items price which had including the tax. Most buyer wont charge the tax directly.
    customers are not willing to pay it.
    u may add the tax to u price,i think its more acceptabel to buyers.

    These e-commerce websites already charge tax from the buyers. I doubt that it is legal.
