Looking for Ebay Guidance

Hi Warriors,

I have been having some success selling on Amazon and I want to expand to Ebay, but I don't really know how to find what products are hot sellers. It is so easy on Amazon - just analyze the best sellers rank and see how many competing sellers there are. I have no idea how to do the same on Ebay.

I was looking at Auction Debt Eliminator's guide, but it has been around a long time, and I don't see any recent posts about it so I don't know if it is up-to-date.

Any input or advice? Any recommendations for a guide or a course?

Thanks Warriors!
BJ

    Hi,

eBay is a fab marketplace even if you're a beginner. Have you considered digital information products? I personally sell a variety of them in a niche and I've been successful at building a second income from my sales. Obviously you will need to research what products you could acquire and then sell, but the advantage with an information based product is that you won't incur heavy eBay fees: In fact once you've paid eBay and Paypal their share you'll be left with a nice proportion of the sale.

    Have a lovely day,

    Matt.

Similar to the original post would love to find a good ebay course, I already have my own products and am selling over 100 per day without trying or knowing what I'm doing on ebay. Are there any good courses out there (not bothered about the sourcing product aspect, more about how to sell more, management, tools etc).

    Thanks

There are excellent videos on Youtube about Ebay.
Look for something like: Selling on Ebay For Beginners.
Just look for new videos because things have changed a little in the last years.

My book "Silent Sales Machine" has been a creative and instructional boost for thousands of eBay and Amazon sellers from beginner to advanced. I think you'll like it. I'll send you a free copy Joe if you drop me an email:

You could try Terapeak. It's great for market research on eBay. I've used it personally with great benefit. Also, you can look up an individual product on eBay, go to sold listings, and see how many sold in the last month or so.
