Hi,

what are the good strategies to reach $5000/month?

(I need this amount to invest in my others web project and avoid the need to take business angels)

You can do that only with affiliate websites and a good marketing around it ?
If yes, how many websites? how many products per websites?

for example in the pet market or other type of good niches.

If I decide to do dropshipping, with multiple products, I need an API or a WP plugin right?
like the plugin for alibaba or Datafeedr ?

So how many websites if I don't sell very expensive products?

I have created an amazon affiliate account.
I'm creating 5 websites in good niches, but the comissions are low, I will use clickbank too and maybe other networks.

Ps: I know that it also depends of the marketing, the trafic, SEO etc.

==> So the question is, If you had to reach at least $5000, what would be your strategy?

Thanks!

I mean in simple, just dropship.Since you're only looking for a short time income you can try your hand in "Amazon to ebay" and there's a few supposed "quick" ways to make money in affiliate marketing but this site doesn't promote them and I'm below the noobie level in affiliate marketing so I couldn't elaborate on them much anyway.

I hope they are not going to be waiting around for you to earn 5K on a consistent basis because it might be a while.

You say you want to sell low priced items.

You say you have created an Amazon account but the commissions are low.

Given that lets say you can earn 6.5% per site that means you have to sell $76923 per month across the sites to get your $5K.

Compare that to say cutting someone's lawn at $50 a pop.

Cut 4 or more lawns a day and you will easily have your money.

Believe me when I say cutting 4 lawns a day is easier than selling $77K on Amazon

    Now....

if you have time and knowledge you can build an income off affiliate commission.

The key factor here is time.

You mention you need $5K to invest in another web project.

Will that project deliver a return?

How long until the other project delivers a return?

If it is something that will generate additional income in a set period of time then just borrow the money. There are plenty of "working capital" type loans out there.

Are you doing a regular job also?

If you have regular earnings then getting a loan to fund the other project wouldn't be hard.

Do you have anything to sell or invest?

Consider using amazon to sell your own products rather than an affiliate income.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

      Hi!

      Thanks for the answer

Yes, I have changed my strategy a little after my post.

I canceled the hostgator hosting (I took it last week...).

I will finaly stay in my own technology, I already have the ability to create multiple webstores with my first project.
And it will be less expensive to create multiple websites.

My first project is a platform hosted in the cloud who allow me to create different types of website (dating, language imrpovement, webstores, blogs, market place).

I just have to activate the good options.

So, the idea I have actualy is to create 2 types of websites with amazon and other affiliate programs, websites with "cheap" products (at least $100 per product) and maybe 2 websites with expensive products ( > $1000 per products).

I will create another website and try to sell my own products, maybe 1 or 2 ebooks or services.

I will also advertise my main project on all these webstores.

Will that project deliver a return?
How long until the other project delivers a return?
It can make money very fast, it only depend of the first 100 members.
If I have 100 members registred and with personal photo, It will be very fast.

It works like the dating websites, It depends of the list of members with photos that you see when you enter the site for the first time.

If the new members can see at least 3 pages of 30 members with photos, they will automaticaly have the feeling that the site works.

This is how they will start to buy subscriptions and other stuff to have full access.

So my first goal is to promote the site to reach 100 members with photos.

During this time the site will not make money, because I will let it free.

If it is something that will generate additional income in a set period of time then just borrow the money.

There are plenty of "working capital" type loans out there.
To promote a project like that you need to spend money, at least 4 to 5k / month.
OR you need to have good alternatives and skill to reach the same goal without spending (I can't).

What do you call "working capital" ?

Are you doing a regular job also?
No, at the begining i tried to keep my job and worked on this project after work and the weekends, It was impossible... So I left my job.

Now my project is finished, I can take a new mission, work for a few months in a company...
But I really don't want to do that, I want to start this project. So I will do that only if I don't manage to earn money.

Do you have anything to sell or invest?
      Nope.

Consider using amazon to sell your own products rather than an affiliate income.
I'm 100% agree with that... but I have to find what can be "my product".

Or, I can try to dropship a few products...

A working capital loan is a loan used by businesses to cover day-to-day operational expenses and is usually short term.

There are plenty of providers in this market...I even noticed a banner advertising working capital loans to warriors here on the forum.

Paypal has a working capital loan that deducts repayments from your Paypal transactions.

If you have Paypal transactions that can be a quick and easy way to go.

Otherwise search some out because money has NEVER in my lifetime been so cheap to obtain.

      That's your incomes? good!

Yes I understand that I have to sell my own product or service and that the affiliate programs are not the best solution to make money.

      Thank you!

    They use affiliate program too.
