WooCommerce and Paypal

A question for anyone using WooCommerce with Paypal.

I'm just wondering when using WooCommerce on more than one domain, how do you deal with the Return Url under Auto Return for Website Payments, in your paypal account?

It looks like you can only enter one Url. Is a separate account needed for each domain if using Auto Return for Website Payments?

I'm guessing if using WooCommerce, or any other shopping cart on multiple domains, with payments to one Paypal account, it's not viable to have a return url in use?

I'd welcome some feedback from WooCommerce users on their experience with this.

I have no idea about it, but you can use this kind of platforms (technorian[.]com) for woo commerce problems.

If I have to end up paying for the answer, I might as well find an expert on Fiverr!

I'm using WooCommerce (version 2.4.6) which is ok, I think problem is with WooCommerce Version 2.3.5 Update.

Guys, I'm building a site with latest version 2.5.2. So how do you deal with the Return Url in Paypal with your earlier versions of WooCommerce?

If you use Paypal pro and use the API it is not an issue. It will send them to Paypal and come back to the website cart. If you just use the standard Paypal and your email address as the paypal account you may need separate paypal accounts.

Thanks. I lodged an enquiry with Paypal about this, and here's their response -

If you need multiple return url's I would recommend deleting any options you have saved in the Website Payment Preferences section on your PayPal account as this will route all payments to the same place.

You can actually select a return URL on all payment buttons individually. If you created the button via the PayPal buttons section it is in option 3.

However seeing as you have used API credentials to set up your payment options, I assume you went through a third party. In this case, you would have to check with your developer/third party check out system to see how they would code in the return URL.

I am sure they will be able to help resolve the issue for you.
So it looks like it might be down to how WooCommerce handles things. I'll run some tests!
