Logistics - Air Freight versus Air Express

The freight in question is about 210Kg with 14 boxes that needs to be moved from China to US and here's what supplier offered:
$780 air freight (airport to airport)
$1050 UPS or $1340 DHL both air express (door to door)
Of course air freight looks lucrative but there will be other cost as it's only to airport. How about customs broker with single bond ($150 or so) plus trucking which I have no idea of typical costs of. The shipment will be distributed to different Amazon warehouses and they recommend LTL shipping for cost-efficiency so this has to be palletized either at airport or prepping warehouse that I am client of. Unless this arrives already palletized from supplier?
So air freight already comes close to air express. Should I bother with it? You start to think it will save you cost per unit but it adds up as there are additional logistics involved.
Air express seems like the way to go because there's a good chance they will get it cleared and delivered to the warehouse where palletizing and prepping will take place. I heard they can clear shipments higher than $2500 ( here goods are over 3K) and will ask me for EIN and POW but there will be no other logistics involved like this is the case with airport to airport.
Those who are familiar with imports what would you do? Cheers!
