Hi guys

I started an Amazon affiliate store about 3 weeks ago. I'm very new to everything. I'm getting about 40-50 visitors per day but no sales. Bounce rate is 55 percent. Avg time on site is 02:10. No sales so far. I was wondering what your opinion are of my site and what u would suggest to drive sales.

My Url is http://www.roamwithadrone.com

I can see you are very new at this. Nevertheless, here's some tough love:

Dude, you have to get serious. You're selling product for $250 but have absolutely zero trust from anyone visiting your site. Worse you're running crappy google ads at the top of your site and have gmail as a contact address.

Don't want to bring you down but you have to get professional if you are going to have any hope. It's difficult enough without sending your visitors several signals telling them you are an amateur asking them for a lot of money.

We were all new at one point, so I can relate to your lack of knowledge. Get moving fast and start to think and act professionally.

    Good luck with your venture.

No offense taken at all. I am very new to this as I mentioned this my first venture in affiliate marketing as well as my first website. I'm totally open to hard criticism because I want to get better from the guys who know what they are talking about. As far as the Google Adsense, so it would be better to take them off correct? I also will change my email to something more professional. I'm trying everyday to improve things. What else can u suggest I do to make this more professional? Again, don't be afraid to shoot me straight on things.

        You have a good attitude.

If you keep thinking like that and keep learning it will take you far. Discipline and consistency also take you far.

Probably the number one thing I would say to you is to swap to a Shopify platform as soon as you can afford it. The range of extremely useful (profitable) apps is superb and help enormously.

On your current site you have no value proposition. Why should visitors buy from you as opposed to all the other sites selling drones? What is your value are your drones cheaper? Are they better quality? Do you have a larger range to choose from? Etc.

Put your value proposition up front and central. You have approximately 3 seconds when someone lands on your site to make it clear why exactly they should stay and explore.

Drive traffic using advertising. Social media posting most often sucks with ecommerce, except in the medium to long term where it will help with brand building.

Have your traffic land on landing pages built for the purpose where you can warm them up and entice them to buy.

Study your conversion rates, for each separate page, like your life depends upon it.

        Good luck with your venture.

I looked into shopify awhile back and loved it. To be straight, the only reason I didn't go with it was because I think the minimum monthly plan was $29.99 per month. I thought hey I can build a site, pay only the hosting fee every month and get by cheaper. But I'm learning really quick, what good is cheaper if nothing is being converted to sales? i would rather be paying a monthly fee and sell 1 nice commission drone every month than paying 5 dollars and selling nothing. I can afford shopify and am going to convert to it. Besides being a very professional looking platform, can you tell me some other reasons you favor it for commerce? Like u mentioned, social media marketing is not resulting in any sales for me. I can understand why too being the targeted audience is so random in social media. With paid advertising I could target keywords that people are ready to buy and just looking for something to push them over the top. As far as what I could offer better being an affiliate with Amazon versus something else, the only thing would be to say how I have the biggest selection. I'm also trying to learn seo in with all the affiliate marketing stuff. Does shopify optimize your site for seo? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

    HI --
Most all of the help offered you has been great. I hope you follow up with them. My suggestion is that I only found one product in your "store." Was that done intentionally? Unless you have an authority site in that niche, you are already beat before you start. I think the stats you quoted that visitors stay an average of 2 seconds proves my point, as well as the other criticism from the warriors.
That 2 seconds is the time the person lands on your page and says to himself, "Am I on the right site?" and apparently they also said back.. "No" so they left.
As a fact -- I almost did too.
Proven fact is that people -- buying people love to browse as they do in a real store. You have an Amazon affiliate site -- they give lots and lots of information on how to sell their stuff. Take a look at them and take them to heart.
There are also a lot of good courses on putting up stores.
    Hope this helps some. :-)

One point I would like to add here.
Please replace the small thumbnail image with proper size set of images. No one can get idea about your product with image you currently have. Put full size images of your products (Drone or Quadcopter) in product page.
