I'm wanting to start a shopify e-commerce website. The problem is finding a dropshipping company for my niche. I heard of Aliexpress, but they take to long to ship.

Also I see some people saying that it would be better to buy products from a wholesaler and drop them to a fulfillment center. Is that more profitable?

    Hi, MrNutz;

    Beware scam wholesalers and middlemen. The wholesale directory that I use is Worldwide Brands | Directory of Wholesale Distributors, for many clear reasons.

    First, each wholesaler is certified. They do the searching, sifting and qualifying work for you to find genuine wholesalers which combined carry millions of different quality products which will be an advantage to your business.

    The membership fee is also fairly inexpensive. It's only a few hundred dollars for a lifetime membership and access to the entire directory, which lists all of the products and wholesalers, with detailed information to get in contact with them.

    The database is constantly updated as well, and if there's a product you're interested that isn't available in the database, they'll actually scout potential wholesalers for you, and add them to the database.

    They provide access to top-notch educational resources as well.

    In terms of drop shipping, there are definite advantages. Due to market trends, competition and many other factors, a product line may fail, but it doesn't mean that your business has to fail, or that you have to risk money on inventory that potentially won't sell.

    It means greater flexibility. By all means, if you're working with a product line that you've proven to be successful it's going to mean greater profit margins to buy in bulk, but it's much more effective to experiment and build new product lines (expand your business) when they can be drop shipped for you initially.

    Drop shipping is not 'better' than light bulk or bulk. It offers unique advantages depending on the development of your product line, which is a clear advantage of not having the option in the beginning.

    Hope this helps!

    Sincerely,

    Mark Weisse

    for a start you need to go with Ali Express, its not true that Ali Express takes very long you have to search for people who will charge you epacket takes 10 - 15 days to be delivered which is quite good and acceptable you just have to be clear on your Sales page.

    If you have capital then you can use a dropshipping company but that will mean buying inventory first. Either way you have to go with option 1 first to try the product selling or not selling.

    Thank You
