Technically, you can do this. It's not illegal or anything, however, I would not be doing this practice on Amazon.com. However, I would use this practice on an eBay.com store. Amazon sellers often use this practice themselves, to fulfill Amazon orders, and I think it's a bad move, for a number of reasons.

Ebay is acceptable for a single reason, you can set longer estimated ship dates & get away with a lot more unexpected shipping issues, than possible with an Amazon seller account. Amazon is widely known for shooting first, and asking questions later. Meaning, they will suspend you, and FAST if you break the rules & get caught. You get 1 suspension appeal, if you do not complete it up to their standards, you are now PERMANENTLY banned for LIFE.

You can fulfill using dropshippers. The key is to find those that dropshippers that will ship in lesser time...and you dont need permission to get started.

Drop-shipping may sound illegal but it’s not illegal. So you don't need to get permission to start Drop-shipping. You need to find and list the companies that will deliver the product in lesser time. You have your own affiliate stores to sell eBay and Amazon products. However, there are some pros and cons of Drop-shipping.

Pros:

**No up front investment need to get inventory - When you sell drop-shipped products, you don’t pay for merchandise until it sells.

**Eliminates risk â€" If something doesn’t sell, your only risk is the listing fees.

**Product depth and variety â€" When you drop-ship, you can list as many as products you want for sale.

Cons:

**Lack of control â€" When you drop-ship, you are at the mercy of the shipper. They control the packing and shipping/handling experience. For some reason if they pack and item improperly or take too long to ship against it was promised, the customer will blame you, not the drop-shipper. Bad service from a drop-shipper can definitely affect your customer satisfaction ratings in negative on eBay and Amazon.

**No control over inventory â€" If a drop-shipper do not intimate you about their low inventory, you may sell an item that they cannot deliver. This puts you in a very bad position with eBay and Amazon. If it happens too often you could find your account suspended or closed.

You can do this but you're very limited in how much money you can make. It's almost guaranteed any item you put up for sale on eBay someone else is already dropshipping it. Your best bet is to find very unique items that are hard to find, talk with the company, and be their dropshipping representative.

You can sell products on ebay but i am not sure that it is a great idea to get the products from amazon. Invest some time and effort and find some dropshippers that can deliver the products to your customers for a much lower price.That way you can increase your profit margins so you will be making more money.

If the buyer should report you that they bought an item from ebay
and got the product from Amazon, you will get banned.

Yes its all good, the thing is Amazon is happy as they are getting a sale, your customer is happy as they are getting what they pay for, and finally your happy, as youve made a profit.

This is how every retailer works.

You've just got to make sure, your customer is getting exactly what you advertise them, little things like your return policy need to be correct, otherwise you can easily end up in a mess weeks down the line.
Its all about strategy at the end of the day, keeping things streamlined and simple. I personally only have 1 supplier - Amazon.
