Big Commerce Vs. Shopify Vs. Store Coach...

Hello...

In terms of overall cost, customer service, ease of use in building and uploading/changing products, which e-commerce store builder do you feel is best/have the best experience with in terms of Big Commerce or Shopify or Store Coach (or another web store builder)?

I also know that Amazon has its own web store builder. How does that compare with the others?

P.S.: If let's say, I choose one (say, Big Commerce) and for some reason, I'm not happy with it and want to switch to another one, how much of a hassle would it be?

Thanks .

I use Wordpress for my ecommerce store. It's easy to understand and user-friendly. If you want to switch from one big platform to another, you will have to start from scratch. The data isn't transferable among platforms mainly because they are competitors of one another.

Many things to keep in consideration.
With Shopify you do pay a commission but you don't have to deal with CC gateway, which is great.
Also keep in mind that with a "free" solution all the web security is on you. If the store grows it becomes an important aspect to keep in consideration.
About switching providers, always compile your csv file and that should be your shortcut to different platform but still, there will be some work to do.

Try Magento eCommerce platform, is the best for integrating various solutions as its loads of features allow implementation of custom modules that will personalize the users shopping experience, which will expand your online business.

Shopify, BigCommerce, 3dCart, Magento, WooCommerce via Wordpress... These are shopping cart platforms.

Store Coach... This is an eCommerce training course. They'll teach you how to build your store on one of these platforms but Store Coach isn't a shopping cart platform themselves.

What is perfect for one type of website may not work for another type at all. The best thing to do is utilize the free trial periods that every shopping cart offers. They are all different and have their own strengths and weaknesses. None are perfect but there will be one that matches your number of products, options, shipping preferences and budget better than the rest.
