How would you go from here?

So I recently imported some products from alibaba and started a (dutch) drone web shop (www.dronerkebab.com). I still need to make some new banners but overall I consider my website as finished.

Probably one of the biggest flaws my shop has is the lack of products and I'm wondering how big of a impact this issue has on conversions. I know drop shipping might be a solution but there are some negative aspects about this solution, especially long and unpredictable shipping time and possible processing problems.

What do you think? Should I start doing some hardcore marketing? Should I keep going with the stock I currently have? Should I start drop shipping? Why? Why not? etc.
  • What is your ultimate passion? Are you just doing that whole buy a bunch of products from Alibaba because you're just chasing money?

If so, I can totally relate...

    But...

If I can advise you now that if you focus on creating a digital product or creating something of value that you actually care about you will do really well, help a lot of people, do something each day you care about and....most of all...being some value into your world.

What's something you'd do even if you were already a billionaire, had perfect health, perfect relationships and you were happy....what would you do if all that were true? Whatever you answer to that question you need to run after it full force.

You can do everything you search out! It doesn't have to be some glamcourse or something mega awesome just scratch someone's itch.

I consider this project as a hobby, not as work. I'm selling stuff online for roughly 1.5 years now but mostly on ebay, however not on a website of my own. At this point I could use a push in the right direction, that's the whole point of this thread

I had the same thoughts a few years ago, drove myself crazy and then the answer was in front of me, I was successful on ebay and it was "easy" for me , so why am i looking to sell somewhere else? I forgot the idea of my own site and scaled my ebay store , added more inventory and put all my effort in promoting, stocking , shipping, etc into my ebay store.
the only advice I can give you is the profit is when you buy your merchandise not when you sell .... buy your items at the right price, so you can get off them if the market dries up, because it will especially with tech based items which change so frequently.

On another post you mention selling on Amazon

Know that selling on eBay is a walk in the park in comparison to selling on Amazon

    Good luck with your venture

Amount of the products are not that important. The thing that really confused me was the name. I thought first that it was a store for kebab cutting machines.
I really felt that the website was childish and personally would not buy from there just because of it. My suggestion would be to change the name and make it a little bit more professional. I personally buy only from sites that i feel that i can contact if something would happen. But at the same time other people might feel totally the opposite.

I hope you understand that I am just ONE person and my opinion might not mean shit. If it works then it works and does not matter if one retard does not like it.
