I am curious how some of you are doing with your ecommerce store's affiliate program?

Do you have an in-house program?
Do you use a company like shareasale or commission junction? If so, how is is working for you? Have you increased sales?

I have been using in an-house program on one of my oldest ecommerce stores.....online since 2007. I only have maybe 15 registered affiliates.....and I am lucky to get 5 affiliate sales a year. My site does a decent amount of business....but i keep thinking that I am leaving a ton of money on the table by not doing better with an affiliate program. Please share your experience and let me know your thoughts.

You can get saas based platform with affiliate program within it. Budget wise it is not more than 39.99 gbp so it is in a range of any shop owner. Affiliate program is not the main marketing tool and it has to be treated as marketing support only. All discussion should point out right tools set since it is all about money.

Thank You.....but I don't think that really answered my question or would help me. I already have a built-in affiliate program that works on my website. The problem here....is that I find it hard to attract users willing to do it! Again, I am not banking on this for my main income, but I can tell you this......the few times I had some high traffic websites place a link on their site....my sales when up by at least 20% on that day!! I know if I could get some couponing or deal sharing websites (that get good traffic and have users) to post my deals with their affiliate link, we both would benefit greatly! That is why I am wondering if I should consider Shareasale or Commission Junction. I really want to hear from someone that has tried them.
