I need a free online ordering system for my little restaurant

Not that I run online ordering for restaurants but I do have several online businesses that utilise OpenCart for operations.

There would be a ton of extensions that you could look through to see if they met your needs.

A quick search through opencart gave me this theme which may have some of the features you require.

The main opencart page has an extensions link and you can search for free extensions that possibly could do what you request but in my experience it is better to get a reliable paid extension as you will then get the support.

Search for ones that are currently updated and supported as you do want something that will work on an ongoing basis and free is not always the way to go.

OpenCart is free and you could control the delivery costs by location.

You can choose various delivery options that come as standard but you would be best looking for a reliable extension (MODULE) that could be adjusted to your local situation.

Yes, that is absolute true, even you can track your drivers and see your drivers moving on a map, as it is also integrated with a driver app called bringg.com , its truly good, I'm using bringg with that, and its seems to be very fine with the system, without any issues, At first I too have a bunch of questions relating to this system, about how can a free system provide with lots of new stuff in it, and that too for free, but after making a throughout survey, I came to know its all true, there is no way for fake things in it, also I have some questions regarding , if they take any commissions on orders or if there are some hidden changes in using that, but there is no sign of it, its a complete free solution for all who is really fond of making real good quality business online!

Moreover, you can use any language with this system, and also can choose your own suitable currencies too...and has got 3 inbuilt template designs to choose from your suitable business types, the designs are very good and elegant!

If I understand the question correctly, you will need one that has the ability to change "shipping" prices based upon the zip code of the customer (you can re-name "shipping" to "delivery charge"). Lots of shopping carts fall short when it comes to shipping options so just make sure from the beginning that whatever you choose allows you to set up pricing at the zip code level.

I guess I just do not understand the problem. I'm not sure what Google Maps has to do with how much you charge to deliver to certain areas. You can certainly make a copy of a map and highlight it in colors that show the areas you serve and extra charges where they apply. All of those areas have zip codes and you would use a shopping cart to assign an additional "shipping" price to certain zip codes. Instead of using the default words "shipping", you could change it to "Delivery Charge". Some carts make this very easy to do; others, you have to know a little bit of coding to change the name of "shipping" to "delivery charge".

The problem here is that you are looking for a "Free Online Ordering System". Assuming that this is being built to either boost sales or to make the restaurant delivery service more efficient, free should not be any part of the answer. The minimal costs will more than pay for themselves. Your focus should be on getting something that works, regardless of the cost.

Maybe you should integrate your eCommerce website with POS (Point Of Sale) system in the front of your restaurant.
So, when someone order through your website, the order also come through your POS system in real time.
