Hello,

How much time takes in generally speaking for an eshop to be successful and have clients?
Is there a teoretical period until the business is growing and produce money?
My shop has one month and I keep on posting every day on social media and no clients... nobody...

Thanks.

It sure would be nice if there was an easy answer to this question. It all depends on the niche you are in and how you are marketing the site. Social marketing is great for getting free traffic if you do it correctly but it is extremely low converting traffic in most niches. If you have optimized your web pages correctly, have a decent number of high authority, relevant backlinks and are in a very non-competitive niche, you could be ranking high very quickly, which should bring high converting traffic. On the other hand, even with very well optimized pages and good backlinks, it could take several years to rank well if you are in a very competitive niche.

Hopefully, you are selling product with high markups (at least $50 profit per sale) which would enable you to use pay per click advertising like Google Shopping, Bing Shopping or even Amazon or eBay. Usually, advertising is the only way to start generating immediate income with a brand new website such as yours.

Wow....thanks for your reply. I am selling sexy lingerie, dresses, bedding sets, jewelry. Crowded niches but still profitable.
      Do you know my eshop?
I just learned social.media advertising and post each day something.
People look at the pics (very nice pics) and leave....not even give a like ....they simply leave.
No reason why. I am sending you private message with my store address.

      ?????

      What can I do?

      Thanks.

I'd agree with this. If you can only pick one, I'd suggest Google Shopping. You can run with it and you will see sales. Financing ad spend is tricky if you're working on thin margins so be careful with spend control. I'd suggest adding organic marketing to paid and experimenting.
