I want to learn about drop-shipping. I already make a lot of money with Kindle publishing and Amazon FBA, but I want to learn more about drop-shipping.

What's the best program out there?

I have been doing some research into this myself because I am going in that direction too. I have narrowed it down to two options. Both seem very knowledgeable and successful. Not in any particular order and not an affiliate of neither.

Anton Kraly with Dropship Lifestyle his website is dropshiplifestyle (dot) com. You can find him on YT as well.

Dave Hermansen, (Coach Dave). His website is storecoach (dot) com. He is also a member of this forum.

I have thought about the Kindle books as well, but I keep going back to the dropshipping method using Shopify.

    Best of luck Max!

I've gone through a lot of this type of training recently.
With free time on my hands I figured I would educate my self on this subject.
I have or am going through the following, and hopefully, you will find it useful.

    Dan Dasilva - 100k blueprint
Lance Tamashiro & Robert Plank - Dropship CEO
    Anton Kraly - Dropship Lifestyle
Dream Dropshipping - Online Empire Academy
Bradley Long, Josh Hutchinson - Shoptimized

Some of these courses utilize Amazon as a selling portal rather than using Shopify or a separate website.

Can you please suggest some free video tutorials that are to the point and start you off keeping in mind that the viewer has no prior knowledge or experience of eCommerce or dropshipping and website development. Any recommendations and suggestions would be highly appreciated. Looking forward to some course so i suggest it to some boob friends.

There is tons of good free information out there. I think the best way it to learn by doing. Start small and scale. I wouldn't trust these course. If they are so successful, why would they want more competition?? They make tons of money selling these courses. No way to know how successful they are in drop shipping.

Google/Youtube and experience,e-commerce is pretty much all the same it just differs how you're getting the products to your customers. Now if you mean how to source suppliers then that's different but even I still wouldn't pay for a course for that, google is the greatest one(not to mention in just this week I've found better suppliers on google than directories.

Try to stay away from all of those so called e-commerce gurus who somehow have enough time to dab in Full time Affiliate Marketing(there may be some who don't have affiliates pushing their courses but it's still the same mindset to me).So far I've notice that alot of the people who purchase these courses end up saying the SAME exact thing in the end regardless of who they signed up under which is all they do is just give you motivational speeches and tell you what you would have more than likely found out on your own before it was too late anyway had you took action.

In my honest opinion though if you're already purchasing inventory and having it sent to Fba then you're doing better than the majority of people who use drop shipments.I use drop shipping too but I'm just being honest, unless you can prove to your distributor you can move inventory just as fast with single purchases(if they even want to break down cases in the first place) as the next person would buying bulk then you can pretty much guarantee your profit will be looking kind of funny compared to what it could be for even if you were selling it at a lower price had you bought bulk not to mention the screw ups being out of your hands but still take the blame as if you were fully responsible.

Too Long didn't read:Since you're already into E-commerce you're moooore than likely not lost enough to have to worry about wasting money on courses,Google/Youtube and experience works wonders(and get's you progress at the same time)

The best way to connect with any experience drop-shipper. I think it is the most effective way to learn drop-shipping. You can also connect with drop-shipping related FB groups.

There is a very simple process to begin dropshipping. You can start simply by just using known retailers that you shop at everyday, e.i. Walmart, Amazon, etc. just mark up the price for a profit. You can test this out while researching wholesalers and manufactures that dropship products in your niche. Buy low...sell high! No need to carry inventory!

I posted this question a couple times. Either I was asking a stupid question or nobody wants to bother to answer.

Drop shipping as I understand it is your more or less a middlemen between the buyers and wholesaler. So let say I buy something cheap on ebay or Amazon . Mark it up and sell it on my web site. So my real job is to really market my web-site or whatever platform I'm using.

However, I find that many wholesalers are already on ebay or even amazon. So how does one compete against that? Do you further specialize your niche or market your site even further to stand out?

I find that allot of customers are pretty savvy and will do price check and searches for quality and low prices. There is a reason why Amazon is dominate .

The other way is to specialize your niche in other words sell a unique product or something . Hope someone can help.

Buying something on eBay or Amazon and then reselling it at a higher price is not dropshipping from a wholesaler. It is arbitrage.

True dropshipping begins with contacting the actual brands and seeing if they will dropship directly to your customers. If not, find out who their large distributors are and see if you can get them to dropship.

Many websites we build are ones where we compete directly with the brand's website. They usually set MAP prices so that nobody can undercut them but they realize that we are another marketing arm for their products and give us wholesale prices. They would rather give us the same (or nearly the same) price break as they are giving to retail stores who buy in bulk because they know that there are many people shopping from places that carry more than one brand (like Walmart, eBay and Amazon) and if their products are not there, the competition is going to get the order.

Most true distributors do not have websites that sell to the public. Retailers pretending to be wholesalers do.
