Had this recommended by a couple of people now - I think it looks good and am about to take the plunge but was just wondering if any of you guys had any opinion on it?

Thanks

If that's the one by Anton Kraly, I have that.
Like every course out there, it's only worth what you put into it.
Personally paying $997 is a bit ridiculous (if that's the one you are talking about)

If not excuse me while I wipe this egg off my face....

I don't think that good of dropshipping. In my opinion it is an overhyped way to make business and many people see it as the Holy Grail to passive income. Here are a few of experiences I made over time:

    - Dropshipping can be really frustrating, especially when you import from China. Custom problems can appear, wrong invoices here and there etc.
    - Costs are very high, because you don't get bulk discounts and have to ship every item seperately
    - You can't customize any item as long as the supplier doesn't over single item colorisation (shirts for example)
    - shipping times (!!). Seriously, which person in today's world of Amazon Prime wants to wait 20-40 days for their product they bought in a noname online shop? People claim its ok as long as you put it in your policy, but trust me, sooner or later you will fail with this.

Yeah, dropshipping is easy and dropshipping is cheap, but because of this the competition is so huge that in my opinion you are better going without it.

A lot of the people that disparage dropshipping really have never done it the right way. They take the easy way out, getting their products from places like Worldwide Brands or Doba who have to be getting a cut from the wholesalers, their prices are so bad. The margins you get when using those easy dropship directories are simply far too low to compete with websites who do things the right way. We don't use middlemen services like these and never will.

Dropshipping works very well when you make the real effort to talk to the actual manufacturers, sell yourself and your company, and convince them that you will represent their brand well and increase their sales. You can definitely get the same or almost the same wholesale prices as people buying in bulk. It all comes down to your negotiating skills and how well you sell yourself. We have more than 40 sites of our own that utilize dropshipping. That's where we make our real money - not from the Store Coach eCommerce course.

Dropship Lifestyle teaches some things that are a little bit different than what we teach in our free course. Neither method is right or wrong; there are many, many ways to make money online and more than one way to do the same thing. No matter which method you employ, I assure you that it takes a whole lot of work. None of it is hard work; but it is a lot of time and effort that many people simply cannot commit to.

I fully agree, but what I mean is that many people just think it is too easy. On Alibaba there are tons of resellers and traders and in my opinion working with shipping times of 40 days is not a lasting business model in nowadays time. Like you said, you have to know what you do to be successful with it. It is not like "anyone can make money with dropshipping, just put your products in an online store and wait".

The only people who I have ever heard of that have been successful at anything that didn't work extremely hard at it are people who happened to pick the right numbers on a lottery ticket. Unless you want to believe all of the push button money making scam claims.

I took a look at Drop shipping lifestyle . It looks expensive. Going for $2,497 and maybe more if you want the other features.
