Multiple sellers selling my product on Amazon? Problems?

I haven't started listing on Amazon yet, however another seller is interested in selling my product as well. I would like to allow them, and assume this would be fine since I see other brands being sold by multiple people.

I certainly don't want to create more competition for myself, and certainly want to have some degree of control over the price. The guy is obviously afraid if he takes off and things go well that Id cut him off eventually, but I also feel like I should cast a wide net with sales funnels, and this could be one.

Im new to the Amazon game, so please any insight would be massively helpful!

Thank you

Well you should be happy that you getting people interested in selling your product on Amazon because that means more sales for you, more money for you & brand building awareness . Look at this way ,that person is doing the hard job of selling for you & you just making money off them. The only thing I would say is set the terms of the same selling prices for everybody so that nobody is under cutting anybody and then keep an eye.

Set up a M.A.P. (minimum advertised price) agreement for your products so that they cannot undercut the retail prices you are selling things for.

    Hi

I would suggest to see what price is he selling on and then price your product. See which marketplace is he targeting and how much sales is he getting. If you can get more reviews, good ones then you might be lucky. If your pricing becomes competitive then also you might get more sales.

    I hope this helps

Yes, competitor research is very necessary when pricing on Amazon.
