Dropshipping with Aliexpress - Which countries to exclude?

Hey guys,

I see that on some of the products on Aliexpress there are no free or cheap shipping available to certain countries. In case of Bolivia, on one product the only shipping available was DHL and the shipping cost was a whooping $274!

So my question is, if you market worldwide are there certain countries you exclude automatically from selling to due to high shipping costs?

    Hey Shay, we originally started by excluding country by country wordwide, but lately we just exclude most of Africa and countries like Venezuela, Angola, Bhutan, Mauritania, Afghanistan, Djibouti, North Korea (DPRK).
    Why? we just had too many problems with those countries..

    Of course, if you stick to the pure Aliexpress dropshipping model without stock or fulfillment centers, there are certain countries which you simply cannot target for these reasons.

      Well I wanna stick to that model for now, until I can generate enough revenue and test enough products to know what to work with in bulk.

      But even when working with fulfillment centers, you are still limited to shipping only to certain countries isn't? Are there no shipping limits for fulfillment centers? Thanks!
