Hi WFMs,

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right category but I've hit a bit of a wall with my book release.

I have this plan to release a new book and give for free to my subscribers with an upsell to a full program I'm about to release.

My book is self published on create space and is now on Amazon.

The wall I'm faced with is how do I direct my buyers to a sales page where they get the book for free and pay a fixed price for the shipping.

Is the only way to just direct them to the amazon or CS estore nd make sure I drop the book's price to $0 or is there a way I can distribute it to them for free, they pay for the shipping only without me having to drop the price to $0 on amazon and CS estore?

It still needs to trigger CreateSpace's system to print and ship to them.

You can either use a hosted shopping cart like BigCommerce, 3DCart or Shopify OR you can use WordPress with the WooCommerce plugin.

I see. Woocommerce is an option. My main concern is how would I hook that up with createspace? Or would I have take the orders from a 3rd party cart Nd enter tthose orders manually?

All createspace has given me is a link to my book on their estore.

Can I set up something like 1shoppingcart and integrate it with createspace?

Does anyone know anything here about how to go about setting up a shoping cart with a self publishing company like createspace or lightning source?

    Hi CBX,

Can you have two versions of the same book in CS Estore with different prices?

Can you give a coupon code to use in CS Estore to discount the price at checkout?

    Best regards,

Why can't you offer the book as a download from your own site? Tons of shopping carts have that capability. Not sure if Woo does but the Nano Plan at 3DCart would definitely be all you need and it definitely lets you sell downloadable things. It's only $9.99 per month and includes the shopping cart, hosting and a ton of other stuff. You can barely get just hosting for that anywhere.

    I've thought about multiple options.

I can just send them straight to amazon or CS estore and drop the price to $0 just for the release period.

Or I can set up a separate shopping cart where I take their orders and manually put it through into the CS store.

I'm leaning towards that second option because I have people opting in for the book and I would like to be able to direct them to the order page and fromthe order page, to a thank you page which explains how they can claim some bonuses (this is a component I've put in place which involves social sharing for more subscribers to this book)

Ideally, I would like a system that hooks up into CS but I think a system where I collect the orders and put them in manually is my best option.

That first option of just directing them to the A'zon or CS estore wold mean I have to skip the confirmation page that instructs them on the social sharing for bonuses.

The other thing I thought of is to swap the order. Have them land on the thank you page first and then instruct them to click the order page link as well as my CTA for social sharing for their bonuses. I don't like to cram too many calls to actions at one time. And I might lose out on book orders.

Help me guys. Is there a solution I haven't thought of? And if my idea of using a 3rd party shopping cart to gather the orders and puting them in manually is my best option, what cheap or free shopping cart do you recomend me that I can set quickly and easily?

I guess I am still having trouble understanding why you HAVE TO use Create Space at all. Why can't you create your own downloadable PDF eBook and have them simply buy it in your store?

Why would you need to manually enter the order in CS when your shopping cart could automatically send it to them?

This is a physical book. I still hve to get get the .mobi file for this book but basically, I'm giving away the print on demand copy of the book (and have pay for the shipping). I'm kinda going for perceived value. I will create the ebook version offer too though.

I guess I don't understand how it works. I don't know if I can get .... basically I want a shopping cart I can have my new book receiving subscribers be redirected to, they put in their details to have a copy sent to them and when they're done, they're redirected to my customly created confirmation/typ page.

Is there anything that can do that or do I have to compromise?

Hey, I think I'm using the wrong term for what I want. I want an order page. Not a full shopping cart. I just want a simple order page.

Can anyone help out? What's the best order page for what I need?
