What would be the best way to find new low competition products for ebay? Currently I am selling fidget cubes and earning 10 dollar profit for each sale dropshipping them. Here is the only listing of mine that actually sells: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/1223589596...e=STRK:MESE:IT I've tried other products but they've only got a few views each and no sales. Just this one listing is generating around $30-50 per day, but I want to find another product that has low search competition that I can dropship. Thoughts?

    It looks like a good niche.

    Notice the best seller (4,272 sold) has 11 colors to pick from.

    Try this Google search, adjust the keyword and numbers as needed.

    Code:
    inurl:www.ebay.com/itm "fidget" "1000..50000 sold"

    When you create your fidget ads, what search terms, interests, etc are you using for this ?

    I've been dabbing in cell phone cases, super cheap.

      Right now I'm not advertising at all, just getting traffic from the raw searches

      Also I've been trying to get in on cell phone cases but I found that it is a very saturated market with people already selling really cheap cases, and it was really hard to come up high on search. Have you had any success?

        I don't mess with ebay that much for my products. Case selling needs to be SUPER specific on what you sell. It's hard don't get me wrong, and also not a huge markeup to be able to make much of a profit.

        What other niches are you dabbing into now ?

    Finding the next big trend items is key that is the hardest part. I wish there were some type of website service that could help you analyze and locate the next upcoming product and possibly help you source it.

    Yeah, I would Love to be able to do this too. Been on eBay a long time, but haven't sold in years because finding product at the right price to be able to sell and make a profit is very difficult: Cost of Item + 15% ebay & cc fees + shipping (BIG ONE) + handling + packaging) makes it very difficult to come out with a worthwhile ROI.

    I've been revisiting this lately ever since Amazon just stole about 40%-50% of my commissions with their new fee updates. Overnight went from being able to save some money to not making enough to pay the bills...

    Been looking at eBay, 3DCart, Shopify, and everything else. Ever heard of analysis paralysis...LOL

    You may follow the below process:
    => First :choose ebay product
    =>Go to:Google keyword planner
    => search :with product name
    => you will see on top of the page competition
    => select low competitive name

    However,it does not affect so much on your selling,actually selling depends on you marketing policy,such Lucrative shop website,promotion social media,create review videos on your product etc.

    I notice when I click on the listing, no one has given you any reviews ? The last couple of purchases I have made. The seller's always asked for a review. Those with positive reviews will pull more sales in. Buyer's look for some sort of proof the seller is legimate. Here is a simple example.

    If some one sells 10 widgets with no reviews. The next seller sells the same 10 widgets, and has all positive reviews. Who would you rather send your money to if all things were equal ?

    Here is a suggestion every time you sell a product, ask for a review. Try also to go back to some of your recent sales. Contact the buyer and ask to please leave a positive review on e-bay. Also ask it their is any issues. You can deal with them at the time.

    Why find more things to sell when you have a good seller. Work on maxing out your sales. I see you have no feedback. Follow up with your buyers and get good feedback. That will increase sales by itself. Write a better description. Make it more compelling and have a call to action. Once you have this one going good then move on to other ventures. Just my two cents..

    i sell a lot on ebay. i ship between 20 and 100 packages a day.

    what i would tell u first is do NOT dropship, unless you want a short lived business.

    find what sells on ebay in volume and stock it. then u dont need that 21 day timeframe u have. shipping same day or 1 business day will increase your sales on those hot products greatly.

    there are 2 research programs (i dont know the rules on this forum so im not naming them).

    u need to know your numbers. but u have to stock. so if 200 are sold a month and 300 are us stockers, then u need to know your landed cost, know what it cost u to ship it yourself including all packing material, work on making a professional listinig, return policy, etc etc and a great title.

    (i came a long way myself after the veterans helped me here, so i hope u take a little from my post)
