Importance of good copy on Amazon?

by xbcc 0 replies
Hi all,

I am trying to decide whether it is good use of my time to learn copywriting. I'm going to sell on Amazon and I was wondering whether good copy is essential for sales?

I have the option to outsource the copywriting (and thus save lots of time learning copy) or learn it myself.

I have seen many bestselling items with only bulletpoints as copy, but also bestselling items with extensive and good copy. So it seems like good copy is not necessarily needed.... am I right?

So the question is, is good copy worth the time or investment (outsourcing)? If it is, should I learn copy myself or outsource it?

Thanks in advance
