Stripe blocks payments?

Stripe blocks almost 1/3 of all payments going trough my website, in 2 months I have had over 110 payment blocked because of "high risk".

Is this normal and how do i lower that amount ? thanks

    How big are the payments you're trying to process? Once you reach a certain amount per product they will block a lot of higher ticket items.

    Hi Steffan,
    Let us know whether you are using API or Hosted Payment. Are you using AVS verification, etc... explain in brief about your payment method.

    Hi Steffan,

    Stripe has some pretty sophisticated systems to verify people using their service.

    Have you looked at the reasons inside the actual blocked transactions?

    Often it might be the purchaser is using a pre-paid credit card that was bought in the USA or another country which is different to where the purchaser is making the purchase from. Look at the reasons behind the blocked transactions to get some clues.
