Shopify is a shopping cart platform and has nothing to do with your success with Facebook ads. We recommend that people do not use Facebook for boosting a post or for showing standard ads. They simply do not work for most product niches. What we definitely recommend is running re-targeting ads with Facebook - you know, those annoying ads that follow you all around the web after you have visited a website. Re-targeting seems to work very well on Facebook.

There are a lot of good courses out there but and there is a but even buying one of these courses does not guarantee you will make money but by following a proven system and a lot of hard work you will succeed. Now Facebook ads is very expensive as you can lose a lot of money which you found out unfortunately. I would concentrate on other forms of traffic to your shopify store once you have one until you get more experience with facebook ads and you know how to do your targeting right on fb. Now retargeting can provide profits if done right but that is another learning curve also Adrien Morrison has a very nice course on shopify and Facebook ads and he goes in depth but it's not cheap I'm afraid my advice would be too do your research more and more each day and learn what you can for free from YouTube about Facebook ads and fb retargeting and also learn shopify setup before you invest heavily in a expensive course or worse wast more money on Facebook ads. Hope it helps

I think you can also manage your shopify stores well, not only through learning shopify courses. i.e. you can make full use of your own resources or others' resource around you. Facebook Ads accelerates your business, but it can't guarantee your success.

Instead of studying Shopify, you can study Facebook ads. $500 expense with no sales is already a big investment. How many days did you run your ads with this amount?

Facebook ads is effective but it is a little complicated. You have to make sure that you are targeting the right audience - filter their age, gender, location and you can also include their behavior.

In addition, the ads objective is also important in making your ads. Do you only want to reach people through ads impression? Do you want them to click and visit your website?

Simple questions of goal setting can be a big difference in Facebook ads.

I would stay away from facebook ads until you start getting sales from organic traffic. You must understand which product sells without spending a dime first and that is achieved by Instagram. Also you have to use some efficient apps on your shopify store to get customers to engage to your site and products. After you discover which product sells fine with organic traffic you start marketing them on facebook and instagram. that is what i am doing with my shopify stores and so far I am really happy with the results. Cheers.....
