I studied Chinese for 2 semesters(nowhere near fluent), Japanese. I am not fluent but I can read a good amount of Spanish.I am pretty sure if I were to travel to say Cuba, I would be pretty fluent within 2 or 3 months.
Fluent in french,

I'm not sure if it's still the case but once upon a time, one could pay a plane ticket by bringing a brand new Iphone to certain Asian countries.

Language learning is kind of a hobby, but maybe I could do something with it.
How could I leverage this knowledge?

I suggest you try to find another skill or passion that you have such as writing, creating videos etc.
Then mix the two i.e. language+next skill/passion to come up with a product idea

Here are somethings to get you thinking:
    1. You could compile all the challenges that you faced while learning these languages and sell it as a course on udemy or your blog or youtube
    2. You can get freelance job to translate content. Localisation is becoming important for more reach. Facebook exploded with users when they started offering Facebook in local languages.
    3. You can get inspired by popular educational videos on youtube and create similar videos in local languages.

You can leverage this knowledge by offering to translation or transcription services in those languages on freelance sites. Set up your profile and promote it.
