Please critique this Shopify/Social media/referral concept
I'd like to add an image gallery to my shopify site (app not selected yet) The intent is to use it as the source of content for the social media cloud (pinterest, instagram, facebook etc) Also I can scroll selected images across my homepage.
After seeding it with existing images, I'll invite past and future purchasers to share their images of the products in use. There's submission approval steps that allow me to add hand crafted alt-tags if needed
This of course give me "free" social/google content to promote going forward. "Free" because I may need to offer an incentive. As for incentive I'm thinking of adding a referral app that says every time 3 units are sold using your special ink you get a free one. (the math works out) Then sending coupon code for redemption. (redemption rate?)
Pros/Cons?
Realistic adoption rate by customer?
Tie the submitted image to affiliate link while in the gallery?
Voting/Likes contest?
Copyright issues?
