Re-packaging AliExpress products?

I read about some dropshippers complaining that the products shipped from AE contain the price and some other unnecessary information which the seller says must exist or it wont be able to leave China. It is not good to sell a product for $5 and the customer finds that its real cost is $2.5... Is this true? If yes, is there a way to re-package the product from the source?

We put a comment on all orders to please not include an invoice or any promotional materials in packages. Most suppliers will read and obey that request. We do test orders on products, shipping them to ourselves, to see how they are packaged. Thus far, none of our suppliers has put any of that kind of stuff on or in packages.

I bet the shipping time would be wonderful...
    • Order from aliexpress (China).
    • Wait 2 - 3 weeks.
    • Re-package and ship to customer, 1 week.

Who waits a month for a $5 item that's not even customized?

Looks like a recipe for negative feedback.

    As dave said,

When you order the product, at some point you can leave a message to the seller.

Write something like ¨ Do not put any invoice or promotions in the package¨.

I use shopified app (now dropified) and there is a way to automate all of this too.

I know MValmont really likes dropified - and probably for a very good reason - but I should point out that Oberlo also allows you to automatically have that comment inserted for every item you order.

In fairyland, Aliexpress sellers will do exactly what you ask.

In real life, some are too lazy, some don't understand, some don't care, and others want direct contact with your customers. Oh yes - some will even do what you ask.

    What a great business model!

Well, I agree, of course, that using American suppliers - preferably the actual manufacturer or distributor - is the ideal scenario for dropshipping. The question was about AliExpress so they got an AliExpress answer.
