What type of products are you selling? How competitive are your pricing? Do you have a wide reach of customers outside of your area? Do you have good social media presence (instagram, FB etc.)? Do There are a lot more to factor in when it comes to online stores.

One thing to increase audience is to work on your social media presence and local presence. Get your store posted on different FB groups (both locally and internationally). Post special deals to attract more customers.

Can you give us more details about your store so that we can better understand and give you more input.

    Regards,

    Mark

Thank you very much for your answer.
      I sell physical products ( Necklaces 20$ each ) and I'm not sure if I have a wide reach of customers ( I'm targeting USA ) .
Please I would be very grateful if you can explain what do you mean by special deals, is there another method other than putting discount, also can you tell me how can I find those groups that can be interested by my products.

      Regards,

      Oussama

Special deals can be in a form of a discount (example is quantity discount. "If you buy 3 of this, get the 4th one with a 40% discount), rewards based ("exclusive to members" etc.) or Free shipping (worldwide or location specific). These kind of offers will drive more traffic to your online store.

Other than your online store, establish a social media page for your brand (Facebook and Instagram) and be active. Instagram would be one of the best outlets where you can post your products. I always say this (and pretty sure a lot of others do as well), Invest lots of time engaging on your followers and to the pages/influencers you follow. Do not go for bots to add followers on your Instagram. Keep everything organic, meaning take time looking for people and pages to follow.

Take time taking very good pictures of your products and quality content on what you are promoting. Do not make it look cheap and rushed. Even photographs taken with a mobile phone will look gorgeous with the right editing done (the editing features of Instagram will do but you can always take it a step up with a proper editing software).

You will also need to take care of your customers or people who show interest in your business. Communicate with them.

Have you ever considered adding more reach other than the USA? It is a good idea to add more reach once you have the business going.

        Regards,

        Mark

That is a good strategy. Since there are a lot shopify stores that sell accessories, you need a way to stand out from the rest. I would recommend a "buy 1 and the 2nd for 20% off" or like Mark said with a 4 product combo.

P.S. 3 dollars isn't enough for a US market so i would up that by 30 dollars at least. Plus if you can find in which city people are buying your type of products, that would help your sales a lot.

Sadly, $3/day may not be enough to help you get the sales you want.

It may be worth first growing your website, have complete information and high quality content around your product.

Share it via FaceBook Groups, there are 100s of groups you could join and share it there. Also try to join WhatsApp groups for buying and selling in your country - google this and you'll find many.

It is an upward struggle until your website has traction.

Personally I feel Facebook Ads isn't money well spent as many people on Facebook are just there to watch random videos and join conversations.

Try to google websites or forums that are similar to what you're sell. See if you can advertise there.

How many people actually made it to the product page of your website? You can't expect people to convert that don't even make it onto the page where they can buy something.

Sounds to me like practically nobody made it to your site. 255 people saw your ad, only 5 clicked on it.That's a 2% click-through-rate, which really isn't horrible. You clearly don't have enough clicks to even look at your conversion rate.

In IM it doesnt work like that .You just choose a product you spend $3 and boom .You need to test test test ,maybe change your product ,or maybe keywords you choose to target .This its a complicated game where you must never give up

  • it may depend on your product description, targeting the wrong audience or you are doing wrong marketing

The reason why you aren't receiving the sales that you want can be caused from numerous of things. Which audience are you targeting? What is the content of your marketing? What are your prices for your product? Definitely look into playing with different prices being spent on advertising and take a step back and go over the questions to see if maybe you need to readjust something.

    Hope this helped you!

Without even talking about your targeting details, nor products quality, nor website layout. Your budget is WAY too low to get any real results.

You might have to do some more trial and error on what you think is your best target audience. Also, your budget for advertisements is WAY too low. With only $3 per day i'm not sure Shopify is going to send many high quality leads your way.

I wonder if people on this forum reply to threads just to increase their score or post number because none of this stuff makes any sense or adds any value to the thread.

Shopify doesn't send you leads. You collect leads by advertising to active and interested audience in your niche.

$3 is a low number, but if you advertise for 30 days that would be $90. So with $90 you can see if your target audience responds well to your ad. If not, you can tweak and even change your entire ad and product if necessary.

      It's all about failing fast.

Obviously you'd know what works and what doesn't with a higher budget, as that would give you results much quickly and you could change what doesn't work and scale what works much quickly, but don't get discouraged because you only have $3 daily for spending on ads.

Some people start with $0 and even a free Shopify domain and they start making their first few sales.

Don't pay attention too much to what people tell you here, 90% of them don't do anything. They just daydream that one day they'll hit the jackpot.

Those 10% who at least do something, they learn. It's a numbers game, and you got to learn that it doesn't always mean profit or sales. Sometimes it's about learning and experience and you only gain that by failing.

Nobody walks the same path, just do what you're doing and you'll eventually get to your goal.

P.S. I believe watching case study videos on YouTube may also be helpful when you're just getting started. As you can see over the shoulder on how newbies can make their first few sales and you can model what they did. But whatever you do, don't buy their courses that promise you that you can make $100,000.00 in 29 days. Because I've found out that people who sell such courses aren't really making any money from their dropshipping business, otherwise one would think that they'd be too busy working on their store and collecting the cash vs selling digital courses.

Your right. I used an incorrect term. Thank-you for pointing out the 3 incorrect words in that sentence. The rest of my post was left out. The OP, who stated they have the "best choice of audience", might need to do some more work to narrow down their target audience e.g. "see if your target audience responds well to your ad. If not, you can tweak and even change your entire ad and product if necessary." Is essentially what i meant by "do some more work". I should have broken that down into more actionable steps as you have. Thanks for the learning experience --that's what we are all here to do.

Marketing a site/shop does take time bro, so give it some more time. Since you mention you've just started, you can post on your social media accounts and also some paid marketing. Find forums/sites and FB groups where you can sell/post about your products. Offer some coupons only for social media fans/followers.

Reach and actually having people visited and view your website is two different things. While you may have lot of audience reach on FB (that means your ad is loaded on the screens of 255 people), that doesn't mean people would click and wait for your website to load - that's why you only see 5 view content.

I'd suggest you re-look your ad buying strategy. The budget ad spend is really quite low.
Rather, identify the lifetime value (LTV) per customer and then decide to raise your ad spend, while not going over your allocated customer acquisition cost (CAC).

Target the most relevant audience for your product and use Google ads for the paid campaign, it will give you a better result. For off-page SEO use the high DA website and try to make more and more backlinks.

What's your products to sell? Is the price too expensive or not? If your products targeted special customer, I think you must be do the match strategies. SEO is the best methods. Btw, how many visitor a day come to your store? Is worth with your daily spent? Here, you can analyse for that, between daily spent and your conversion.

$ 3 is too small a budget for product promotion. In order to attract more users you have to spend more money on advertising. Use social networks is a free form of advertising. But it still does not bring much profit.

In short use SEO to increase your site's visibility, build customer engagement through content marketing, reach out to your target audience on social media. You could also look at using influencers to get more traffic. Also once visitors to your store start increasing, start providing them with the best possible shopping experience by using an eCommerce helpdesk like eDesk to respond to customer support queries quickly and accurately.

How many clicks your are generating per day?

you will never know what works best without split testing. Run different campaigns and A/B split test 'em. thats how you figure the winning campaigns.

you can optimize your ad copy (Image & Headline). improve landing page.. again your need to split test to know.

You'd also want to capture visitor leads and use targeting pixel to follow up with visitors to increase your ROI.

For your shopify store, SEO is the most important channel of organic (not paid) traffic to your website. You can edit the website SEO, modify section named "search engine listing previews" for each of your products, well-written descriptions of your collections, it is time consuming but well worth it at the end.
