I have a new product I want to sell. For my target group, it does not need much explaining. It is an accessory for a well known product. Everything about the product is ready for shipping, I have 200 pieces here for sale. Now, finding the right keywords and doing a good campaign is tough enough I wonder where I should send the prospects to.

Currently I put the product on ebay.

My ideas

a) Send to my landingpage for them to click the link to ebay later
Advantages:
- Conforms to most ad platform's tos.
- Does not require me to do an optimization of secure selling
Disadvantages:
- Requires me to create a landing page that keeps the users attention and fights his suspicion
- Looks like an affiliate site if I don't sell from my page
- I cannot track conversions
b) Send them straight to ebay
Advantages:
- Does not require me to do an optimization of secure selling
- Does not require me to create a landing page that keeps the users attention and fights his suspicion as eBay is well known
Disadvantages:
- Looks like an affiliate marketing approach if I don't sell from my page
- It seems that people want to have a landingpage first for them to be lured into buying
- I cannot track conversions
c) Send them to my landingpage and have them buy there
Advantages:
- Does not look like an affiliate marketing approach
- I can track conversions
Disadvantages:
- I have to have a website that makes visitors trust
- Does require me to do an optimization of secure selling
- I have to create a landing page that keeps the users attention and fights his suspicion

Which of those options is best long term to sell a new product and what is the easiest way to get there?

Curious as to why you are asking these questions when you previously asked essentially the same questions that were answered by one of the forums most successful members?

I did notice that you did not acknowledge Dan's detailed help.

For long term? I would suggest selling on your page.

I think it's a good option to add the product to the landing page and let people shop there.

Those ebay listing pages are covered with other sellers products.

would be a waste to spend money on a campaign and then they go there and buy from someone else.

C is your only answer, but before you go that route you better have everything looking clean & optimised.

No-brainer ... your own site. If you cannot afford the relatively small amount of money to set up a secure website and maintain it monthly, it sure does not sound like a product worth selling.

Then, sure, sell it on Amazon and eBay, too.

If it is your own product, you definitely have to go for #3.. and secondly, you mentioned "long term", so, all the more you should have your own ecommerce website developed, publish your product, do some SEO, and grow your reputation with it.

And by the way, there is no easy way to get to where you want.. as far as my experience is concerned.. i don't know about the others here.. but you've got to put in the work..

If you want to sell POD products, it's much easier if you start with platforms like Teechip, TeeSpring.
But if you want to sell physical products or run a dropshipping store, you should consider start with Shopify, ShopBase, WooCommerce.
