Blogger Needs Help With Idea: Dropshipping and Blogging
Hi All,
I see that various members of WF are successful at dropshipping, while others disagree for various reasons. I like the idea of dropshipping as a business model, and I think it honestly fits into a small schematic of my online pursuits.
OK, so here's my deal, here's what I want to do and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. Here goes:
I write on 10 niche blogs that I have a passion for, an interest in and experience doing. Everything is there from copywriting services to designer handbags to debt reduction. Now, as it relates to dropshipping, I want to sell on eBay(?) and/or dropship for high-end handbags (Gucci, Dooney and Bourke, etc.) and designer clothing (Seven, Juicy Couture, etc.). But, I want to do all of this via my blog. So in other words, I want to BLOG, draw traffic and sell various appealing products that are related to my niche blog. The only way I can see to do that is via dropshipping one each. Am I on target?
My other blogs will focus on affiliate marketing, as they are more appropriate for them. For instance, my debt reduction blog would do better with affiliates (of course) than dropshipping, so that's more relevant.
I LOVE to write, I love to interact with people, I love to persuade people and I can sell people on buying almost anything (that I believe in), hence the reason why I have such a diversified blog portfolio. I just need to know if dropshipping is something that I can profitably do via blogging for one to two of my blogs. Remember, I AM willing to learn and work hard, especially if I see a return on my hard work.
What's your straight, direct and honest opinion of what I've laid out? Do you think I'm on target? Or, erase the blackboard and start over??
