Do you know a cheap UK second-hand clothes wholesale?

Hey Warriors,

My mother plan to start a second-hand cloth store here in Hungary. (I don't know which is the right word for "second-hand cloth store" as my english is not so good).

We want to order from the UK so we need a cheap second hand clothes wholesale there.

    Hi Sayn, There isn't ( I don't think) a single word for what you mean but we would just say second-hand clothes (or clothing) shop - but usually they are Charity shops.

    I would say that most second hand clothes end up being donated to charity shops for sale by them to raise funds. Whether they would resell in bulk to you so that you could sell it in Hungary I have no idea.

    If you have people in the UK that could collect for you they could visit events like car boot sales where some second hand clothing is also sold. I should think vendors would be happy to sell what they have at reasonable prices, especially at the end of the day.

    I hope you find a way to get your mother's venture going there must be tons of reusable clothing that never makes it to the charity shops or even a recycling bank because the owners can't be bothered. If you can find a way to collect that somehow it would be great for you and people here might find it a great service.
