How does selling WHOLESALE goods work??

I am always trying to come up with innovative money making ideas and this one might not be as much but it struck me, What if I wanted to sell goods ex clothing wholesale, how would I make this work would I have to pay for the items upfront for a low price and sell them, or can I work with a company selling their goods with a commission?

    I think you can do both. Depends on what you want to sell and what company you want to work with. Can checkout alibaba site, they sell wholesaler items, buy upfront and then resell. Or you can work with some company and sell for comission, (I think most people work with computers/electronic companies). G'luck, give it a go!
