Looks fine but your logo is not very attractive (the one with the name of the website)
The site loads quickly, all links in place
Maybe your photo of the couple ... could be better

Trust is one reason why i am not selling more. Some people order on the site and they should pay by bank transfer or western union. Over 90 percent buyer stops there. I just got approved by 2co. i believe it will make things better.

I agree .... bank transfer would be a pain in the butt for customers. I think you'll see much better results with 2CO. Lovely clothing.

The site looks good in general, how long has it been running? I noticed you have a blog which is a great idea if you have some great content in there. So my best advice is the get some relevant content in that blog about Ethiopian Fashion. Also, you need to have your physical address and contact number in the Contact Us page.

Site looks good and you have very nice photos of the clothes. That's a good start...

The one glaring omission is in your descriptions. They are just way too vague and they don't even attempt to sell the product. Really describe the product and more importantly describe how they will feel wearing it. The clothing is unique...women want to be unique, to stand out. Write some descriptions (or hire someone to write some descriptions) that pop and stir some emotions (people will buy on emotion) and you will have an easy earner here.

Hi,
I would take on board the comments already mentioned. The About Us is really required. Descriptions of items at $100-500 is also required not to mention that your items are unique so in that regard you do need to describe more so than an iPad. As is the memebership of some sort of Trust alliance. In the UK its IMRG. So yes do this if possible for m80adam above (not sure how in Ethopia maybe you can contact your national export department for some sort of seal of approval). Ok so thats a re iteration of above.
What I would add is the pictures on any e commerce site sell things and few of yours are out of focus so concentrate on those.
Next up who are you selling to? The US? How are you getting your traffic? What is your conversion rate? If you give us more info then perhaps we can help you more

Yes I am focusing on US market mainly, because majority of the diasporas live in US. And I also focus on Europe and Israel. My conversion is very low, sometimes i don't get order even for a month. As you said product description i am contacting local people who can write better description.
I attached a screenshot for monthly traffic, I am not doing that much SEO i did on the first 3-4 months but traffic is increasing.

Nice looking site. I like the photos. Pretty clothing. I love Woo Commerce for building an ecommerce site. Not sure why your visitors wouldn't be buying. I'd buy if I were in the market for some fashion wear. Even being from the US, I like the clothes.

My potential customers is Ethiopian and Eritrean diasporas. But some other people also are buying, currently i get 150-280 visitors per day. I want to convert more buyers, my conversion is very low, i think its because of the payment system. I use bank transfer but yesterday 2co.com approved me

Majority of the buyers are shoppers for Ethiopian wedding dresses.
The clothes are pretty the uniqueness of Ethiopian clothing is the hand spun and woven fabric and the embroidery.

Overall, the first things I always check before to see catalog are:

1 - About us page:

No REAL street address = Scam

No REAL human being blah blah = Scam

No REAL email with your domain name = Scam

No REAL phone number (which you can reverse it to find the street address) = Scam

No REAL whois of domain name (which match with street address and business name) = Scam

No REAL bank account data (with a real bank address and account number which you can reverse it) = Scam

No REAL governmental's business number (which you can reverse it on an official government website of your country) = Scam

Please, do it for your customer as pictures of your street view, maybe your shop, give the link of your business data on yellow pages of your country, create an email to your domain name, give some pictures of your business documents and a link to your business data on your government website, etc...

Talk about you with sincerity, as you could do it with your friend. Because your customer is your best friend.

Please, please, remember:

A - Virtual phone number = Scam

B - Whois of Domain name protected = Scam

Especially for a foreign company!

2 - Real full "Privacy Policy" page

3 - Real full "Terms of Sale" page

4 - Real full "Guarantee" page

5 - Real full "Conditions of Use" page

6 - Real full "Shipping & Delivery" page

7 - Real full "FAQ" page

8 - Real "Payment Gateway" (PayPal is a minimum)

9 - Real "SSL certificate" (even a cheap one at $10) google "cheap SSL certificate"

The best is having an Extended Validation SSL, so your visitors will see the green bar at the top of their browser. It's very difficult to get one, because the paperwork checks performed by Certificate Authority are required. Get a green bar is a good indication that your site is completely safe, and a very potent indicator, especially for an ecommerce site owned by a foreign business. Google "cheap SSL certificate green bar".

There is a minimum to be credible, and be able do business online.

Of course, e-commerce is easy, however, there are some rules to follow to succeed in this field.

Of course, all customers do not check all these datas, but the richest buyers do before you send money.

Since i don't process credit cards i don't use ssl certificate on my site. Currently I use 2co as a payment gateway.
About the address, currently i work from home and accept orders only online, for customers who wants to contact, i will invite them to the workshop i partner with tailoring and fabric, they took the responsibility, some customers wants to see a physical location.
But as soon as i open my own shop i will post my physical address. I have my cell phone on contact page.

For vintage clothes i buy in bulk, for other dresses i buy the fabric and give it to tailor.

The site looks great. I think my wife would buy some stuff if she ran across the site.

The biggest problem I see, as mentioned earlier in the thread, is the Western Union/MoneyGram thing. Get rid of it and add PayPal. I would abandon the cart as soon as I saw it.

Also, Is free shipping only to Ethiopia? That was a bit confusing in your cart area.

the site looks good to go. i would only add a big "100% refund" at the front.

typically, from my experience, sites usually get 1-2% conversion from traffic. So if you had 1000 people going to your site that day, you'd probably get about 10-20 sales. At 150 visitors a day, you might get 1 or 2 sales a day, if any. You have to bump up your traffic and not focus on conversions at this stage.

I have some points which will help you to make your website looks better.

1. Instead of horizontal scrollbars, put a jquery slider.
2. On products page, have auto load pagination (similar to pinterest)
3. Put like button on product page
4. I dont at all like tags at right side.
