McAffee and Norton offer security seals for more than a 1000 bucks a year...
Truste does pretty much the same...
There's BBB for business verification....

Does anyone here use them on their online shopping site and if yes, do they actually help conversions?

With all of the scams now days some sort of assurance that you are legit will help conversions. I like to put the seal(s) where they can be easily seen. A phone number listed in the header also helps to build confidence.

    Hi Mark,

Yes seals does help alot it gives people a secure feeling and it also make your business look bigger.
I always tell my clients to add seals and media on frontpage or on top where its more visible to visitors and when they do this they find a real boost in sales.

    Thanks
