looking for a shopping cart like what amazon use

hi , I am lookign for a shopping cart similar to amazons,

I tried various pluggins and the problem is I need a cart that will automatically calculate the
the shipping,

the site is a wordpress site for selling a book based in Ireland , so I cant use the api's as the Irish postage system dont supply this.

Im looking for a pluggin for the word press site that will caluclate the shipping automatically, like when you enter 2 books to be sent to USA that it will calculate the prices exactly from the weight and postage details I would have entered in to the back office.

Im using 2checkout for the credit card processing.
I have tried 2 pluggins already , but they dont automatically calculate the shipping fees,
you have to manually choose youre shipping method youreself,

    You won't find a shopping cart similar to Amazon as they have a 100% custom built solution.

    But you can def. find a good shopping cart that will do the shipping calculations for you on the go.

    Wordpress is a blog platform, it's really not meant to be used for online shops. Why are you using it? If you sell just one product, it may be ok to use Wordpress BUT for anything more, you should switch to a proper shopping cart solution.

    There are many shopping carts available and based on your budget and requirements, pick one that is most suitable for your business. Some of most popular are:

    * Open Cart (self hosted)
    * Cube Cart (self hosted)
    * Big Commerced (hosted)
    * Volusion (hosted)
    * Magento (hosted)
    * 3D Cart (hosted)
    * many more!

    Open Cart is simple & straightforward shopping cart + it's FREE! So my advice to you would be to switch to Open Cart and forget about using Wordpress for an online shop. You'll get so much more features and in general, will make your every day order processing so much easier.

      Thanks Andy for all the good advice, the problem is that its a client of mine and he is selling his book from his blog , so its all set up already, any other solutions would be greatly appreiciated,

    The simplest solution would be to use PayPal's shopping cart.

    Create separate buy now buttons for domestic and international shipments and say 5 variations for quantity - 1,2,3,4,5 books.

      Creating separate buttons is not necessary as Paypal offers an optional Item Quantities feature for their Buy Now buttons.

        Yes, I know that but how you'll differentiate shipping costs this way? If only you already add shipping costs in the price.
