Next Intimidating Step to Tackle - Marketing
I am a humble newbie. For the last month or so I have been lurking trying to read up on marketing avenues and soak up poster advice. I am at the point where I'm a bit overwhelmed. As a new entrepreneur with a new idea, I have spent close to a year in product development then website development. I'm finally there - but now I'm faced with the daunting task of how to get my site "out there".
I need some advice on how I should spend my precious advertising dollars. There is so much to choose from I'm lost. SEO, Adwords, Facebook ads, email campaigns, press releases, blog marketing. I don't know where to begin. My website, facebook, and amazon stores have been set up. I have started a small Facebook ad campaign but it seems to just get me a bunch of likes from Malaysia.
My product is small, inexpensive and fills a wide-spread need. The site is receiptklips dot com (only for reference - no disrespect to forum rules). As one with no marketing experience I would really appreciate some advice on how to effectively market my site and my product. All feedback welcome - even negative.
Thanks!
