Hello,

I launched my website a few months ago and I have had only 2 sales. I get between 20 to 30 visitors a day but no conversion. I was wondering what I might be able to do to get people to buy? Gel Infused Memory Foam Mattress

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Try a little promotion and marketing on different forums and mediums. See if it helps. If still the conversion rate doesn't go up, then I suggest you should consult an SEO expert and conduct an intensive marketing strategy. Hopefully that will help increase the visitor rate, bring more relevant consumers to your site, and your conversion rate will improve with time.

It might be a time-consuming process, and results will show gradually. But keep a regular check on your marketing activities. That should do you good.

Hope this helps you any way. Best of Luck!

If you're already getting some targeted traffic but no sales, work on website first. No point in extra traffic if you can't convert it.

    * Create a video featuring your products
    * Have testimonials, with pictures, featured more on the home page (not in left nav bar as it is now).
    * Add Live Chat support

I plan to add a video of our unique mattress soon to the main page.

I guess maybe I jumped in head strong thinking I have the manufactuer and the product. What I don't know is how to drive buyers to my site. I know my competorters and know they are doing very well. I know my product is as good or better than theirs. But I don't understand how to get my page to rank in google and I don't realy know much about adwords. Should I hire someone to help me with this? Can anyone recomend someone? We just launched a line that is only available to us. I know it makes it a harder sale, but it does distinguish us from just another company selling a gel memory foam mattress.

You should add more media and content on your site to better explain the benefits of the product you are selling. That might help in increasing your conversion rate.

A few things that stood out to me.

          1. The baby in the header makes it seem like it could be for kids.
          2. Video on the Homepage would be better
          3. The Sale banner in the middle should be clickable.
          4. The left bar seems really jumbled with images that are not aligned

I think people look for a very quality looking website these days if they're going to buy. You might want to re think the design but this is just my opinion.

Patient and consistency is the key. Give it more time. Your previous visitors might turn out to be your buyers. In the near future, they might need your product and remember your seeing it on your websites. The positive is that you are having visitors now.

  • Hi there. I took a look at your site. The best way to get traffic to an e-commerce web site is the following:

    1. Shopping site comparison engines (bizrate, shopzilla, google, etc)
    2. Blogging - Create articles relevant to the product your are selling (ex. different memory foam types, sizes you offer, brands etc)
    3. Social networks
    4. Hire an seo company to optimize your products and to promote them for you
    5. Use a reliable and seo friendly e-commerce platform such as Magento, open Cart or prestashop (all open source)
    6. Sell your product on eBay and Amazon. These marketplaces get a ton of traffic and get your company some exposure.

    For them to convert:

I would most likely get onto a more trusted shopping cart feel, such as magento, open cart, or prestashop. These carts look more modern and give the customer more security. I would also create videos and take very detailed high quality pictures of the product. Having reviews will also help out a lot =)

Good luck, and let me know if you have any questions or need any help with your site.
