Marketing real estate in Singapore

I am setting up a website to market real estate, properties in Singapore e.g. condos, bungalows...
I am thinking to use PPC, google, bing, or yahoo to drive traffic to my website.
Would that be a good marketing strategy?
Advertising in the local press is ineffective.
I am new to this Internet marketing.
Please help to suggest some good marketing tips.

    How about SEO as well. Since its Singapore. The competition wont be so difficult. You can also use fliers. I think it is very effective. of course you should have a good location. door to door maybe?
