Starting a WordPress theme marketplace

Hello,


I am currently developing my own marketplace for WordPress templates where designers can sell their work. I wanted to post to see if I could get any insight from potential users (buyers or designers) on features that you would want.

    I can't comment on what I would want, but I can suggest that you look into CS Cart Multi-vendor software. They offer a great platform, if you are looking to have sellers other than yourself offering products... You are then able to make a commission off of those sales. I believe it is a one time fee to purchase the software/script, and is fairly user friendly and customizable, from what I hear.

    Is there a limit to how many pages you can use on a Wordpress site ? Do you recommend a site for e commerce templates as they are not available via word press are they ?
